Print-Out Badges!
« on: February 21, 2005, 12:51:46 AM »
There's been talk of this, so I made a badge template for anyone who wants one. Just print, add name, and laminate! ^_^

P.S.: Patches-san's art rocks. That is all.

You know, it wouldn't be too hard to hack up some PHP app to add the name in first. If I have a free second later I may do that.

Oooh, nice. Haha, I just add my name in in PSP and do the same with whoever wants me to, but if you can make it easier for everyone then I hail you. ^_^ *hails*

Okay, I whipped up an early version. Right now its just using the default font and the text isn't quite in the right place vertically. Oh, and I was too lazy to make an interface to it, just stick your name in the URL.

Oh, and Ameria, you said you were doing these before in PSP, what font were you using?

For the names, I was using around size 32 Pristina. And that's awesome!

That's so cool! But now I have a dumb question... where would you get this laminated?

Um...actually at places like Staples and Wal-mart you can get your own lamination sheets. It's really easy and they're pretty cheap.

You must have gone to it while I was working on it. In fact I just got it to a level I can call "finished". Maybe later I'll make it so it will shrink the text size for longer names or something, but this is fine for now. Check it out at the address I listed earlier. Now with size 32 Pristina text that is centered in that box. Enjoy!
