Decisive Battle with Magus
« on: January 16, 2005, 02:23:04 AM »
A slightly revised version of The Decisive Battle with Magus has been added to the Sheet Music section.  Some minor transcription errors corrected, but basically the same arrangement.

I actually got into a fight (playful, not serious) with my friend once and I started humming that theme, lol

LOL!! Wish I could've seen that! It must've been hilarious!!

Back when me and Wyvern were going out, I flew down to Florida so we could drive his stuff up to my house since he was moving in. We drove up RTE 95 almost the whole way. (there is a point to this) Out of boredom, as we crossed the border of each state, we would hum the FF victory theme and cheer like we had just defeated some really difficult enemy!

Then we started calling the inevitable welcome center in each state a Save Point, since this was where we could 'power up' on snacks and soda.

And when we hit CT, which was the last state we had to pass through before we got to MASS, we hit all this REALLY horrendous traffic (complete with a drunk BLEEP who kept insisting that we drive faster, regardless of the fact that to do so we would've had to go through the person in front of us) So we ended up calling CT the final boss. When we finally got to my house, we hummed the victory theme again and then the end theme!

Yes, we're nuts. But we had to keep ourselves occupied SOMEHOW!! Including staying the night at an 'Inn' (hotel), it took us 36 hours to get home!!!

Those were the other drivers. All of whom were EVIL!!! And there was this amusment (which we couldn't stop at for lack of time) called 'South of the Border' just south of the North Carolina border which reminded me of the Gold Saucer! All lights and shiney and expensive!!

That's awesome, Kim. I'm going to have to use that when I go on long trips to FL. ^_^

I remember South of the Border! My junior year of high school, we drove to FL for a band trip. It was about 8 am when we we driving through North Carolina, and there were tons of signs for South of the Border. When we finally passed it, everyone started cheering!

...I think we were just really tired by then.

Awww, I've never seen South of the Border on a band trip. We always leave in the morning, so it's the middle of the night when we hit So. Car., and everyone's exhausted and sleeping by then. I've been to South of the Border once, but I was ten, so I barely remember it.

Aren't those signs SO funny, though! I liked the one when we were almost there that just said "HI!!!". It's the only one I can really remember, but they were all funny!
