« on: January 09, 2005, 02:15:50 PM »
Due to numerous requests, I am happy to provide you with the sheet music of my original game and anime music arrangements.  I have transcribed the pieces as I play them in concert and posted them for download in the "Sheet Music" section.

As always, there is never any charge, so please feel free to download as many pieces as you like.  If you enjoy playing these arrangements, please visit www.GameMusic.com to purchase the official scores and support the developers that bring us this wonderful music.

Well, I only have a crude understanding of what it means.
I saw some parts where you have to be hitting as many as 7 keys at the same time.  That’s no easy task (or so it would seem to one who is not a piano player).

Wow, this really looks great! Thanks so much for taking the time out to do this, Mike. We all appreciate it so much. ^____^ And take your time with them. We don't need you burning yourself out.

Wow! You finished those faster than I thought you would. That's amazing. As always, wonderful quality. But really, feel free to take a break between them. Those twelve would be enough to bide our time until you start working on putting others up. Well, thanks again!!! Woohoo!!!!

Thank you for doing such a thing. There's nothing more to say other than you like thinking about the piraters on the net by not charging anything XD  Or maybe it's because you're a pirater yourself! *point finger* Kidding. Thanks again.

Thank you thank you thank you!!! It's really awesome to be able to download free sheet music straight from the source. Your arrangements are all really awesome, and fun to play (some after tons and tons of practice..but still fun) I've downloaded a few of them and have been playing them already. Thank you so much for being so generous! I'm still no good at arranging or composing. Maybe I need more theory lessons or something. +)

I am delighted to provide you with more sheet music of my original arrangments. Three new transcriptions are now available in the Downloads section!

-From Evangelion--Cruel Angel's Thesis
-From Inuyasha--Every Heart
-From Xenosaga II--Jr.'s Theme

Performance is a wonderful thing, for it allows us to bring happiness to the lives of others. It is my hope that playing these pieces will not only bring you great enjoyment, but that you will also choose to share that pleasure with others so that the magic of game and anime music can continue to spread. Even if you do not play an instrument, I have slo included MIDIs along with the sheet music for you to enjoy.

I am honored that so many people continue to request my arrangements, and I promise to continue to provide you with as many as I can--just as fast as I can write them down. ^_^

JOY! *sticks Jr.'s Theme on repeat* ^_^

Edit: I don't know how the heck you can play both those parts at once. x.x I tried translating the notes to help me attempt to play it on my old Casio CT-648 (i.e. writing C#, B, A, etc....yep, I'm sad like that) but I have to use both hands for either side. x.x;; I guess my fingers don't work well enough. Stupid premature arthritis! >.<

I have tiny hands... there are some intervals I physically cannot play unless I use two hands (i.e., anything more than an octave). ;-;

As a piano player trying to make my way into music school I must give big hugs to Michael-san.  Availability of free music sheets, especially good arrangements, are hard to find.  Especially when it comes to anime or game music.  I am currently playing Terra's Theme from FF6 and it sounds so good.  I love playing it.  Its coming quite easy to play.   So Thank You for sharing your arrangements with us fellow piano players.

A few years ago, I had bought the music book for Final Fantasy 8. I just love it.  Uematsu's arrangements are beautiful.

Now I am off to try and find the music for Gravitation's  "Shuichi's and Yuki's Theme" !!!

New Arrangements

I downloaded the new arrangements and opened of the zip file.  Everything came out great except that all the notes (as in all the dots) and the title are all in little squares.  And any time signatures and other need to know stuff toplay are also not viewable. All are tiny little squares.  Like the way it is when you go to a website using a language other than english.  It it something I did wrong or is this just the way it is?

I can't tell what key it is in.  I am assuming the F's are sharp.  I don't know.  HELP!!  I want to play.

Very strange... is anyone else having this problem?  I can assure you that the .pdf files are indeed notation; however, for whatever reason your computer might not be displaying the notes properly.  Is it only when you print it out that you see the squares and dots, or is it also when you view it on the computer?

Someone else please try to download one of the new files and see if the notes display properly for you.
