time to make up anime boston skit!

I am sticking with my james idea i am sure i can come up with something good  with you guys ^_~

all though that means i have to watch the show again or the movies

so anyone who is going have any ideas for cosplay skit i am going to fill out the form for the skit

and the skit should be something funny and kinda randome

but i want to be in a skit with you guys and thats the only way i will get too is if everyone helps out and gets to "pick" what they are saying and doing

ofcorse i might be the only pokemon person in the skit and there for it makes it funny  well if that is what you call it

We should ask Wyvern (aka Ray-kun) to write something up for us! He's an AWSOME comedy writer!!!! I give you an example!! That's an article he wrote for Anipike last year! It is sooooooo FUNNY!!!!! In fact, if it's cool with Ray-kun, I think it would make an awsome cosplay sketch if we could get the characters together!!

I have seen on cosplay websites that the crossover skits where you sit down and go "well I'm making such-and-such costume, and you're making such-and-such costume, what can we do?" usually flop. They end up making no sense, and not in that Excel-Saga-random-funny kind of way, either. It's better to get a skit idea, and then dole out parts accordingly.

Yeah. All of the skits I've been in have involved characters from the same series in some kind of parody scene.

My favorite was the part where Gendo was scheming with Cyborg 002 – or rather, arguing with Cyborg 002.

I guess the only piece of advice I can give is this: know thy characters.  Then you can pick the best character for each part and make the lines to fit their personality.

james is going to be tough if this is not going to be a real pokemon skit but i could try, pluse he is a really funny guy so that is a pluse! i am good at writeing funny fanfics

i guss i will try and write our skit, but i have to have a show of hands of who wants to be in it

Yes, but this was a parody. When writing a parody, it's common for characters to be completely OOC. That's part of the fun of parody writing. ^__^

Good thing I was told about this, because at Otakon '04 I ran into problems that caused me to miss the cosplay performance on Saturday.  But I saw it thanks to that website.  And now I finally know what Ameria-chan was talking about when she said “confess, confess, confess, CONFESS!” (that was here, 5th post from bottom)
By the way, I just recently checked out Ohayocon ’04 and    Visionary! Brilliant!  Ingenious!

There are some ideas I can make up, but there’s no way I could ever parody a song like that.

XD Thanks Red. Took me forever to write those lyrics, but the real applause should be given to Blue-san, who was kind enough to actually provide the vocals. I can't rap like that to save my life, but he did it and he even mixed his vocals himself so the only thing I'd have to do was add the 'Shindou-kuuuuun!' and stick it all onto the karaoke file. It was timed perfectly already. Blue is a GOD.
