I remember that book being read to me in the 3rd grade, then I did a book report on its sequel, A Wind in the Door, in the 8th grade.  I read the third book after that.  I even saw an opera of A Wrinke in Time when I was in college.  It was quite interesting seeing it on stage with music and singing.
