It's been attempted to pre-gather people to beat online forum member records on other forums and has failed on most occasions...but I believe that this community is frequented by enough people to make it possible for us! Who's with me for setting a date and time to see how many people we can get on the board at one time?! =D It could almost be like a chat! This could be our little party thread! ^_^ Let's beat 20 people at once! :mrgreen: BOOYAKA!

Edit: ......Ack! :shock: I just had a Selphie moment! x.x; *puts on an eyepatch and hides in the corner* Scaaary...

Whee! Record breaking! Chaos! I'm in! When are we doing this? I'm most likely on after 5 pm until the ungodly hours of the morning, but Fridays and weekends the afternoons are good, too.

Hm.. Friday I have a long day at classes then go straight to Anime Night until 10... Weekends are extra good, but I'm pretty flexible otherwise. *Internet Junkie*

Let's see what's good for everyone else then decide a time based on that. ^_^

Couldn't we just all leave ourselves logged in, even if we're not at the computer? Or does the forum automatically log you out after a while?

I'm available like... weekdays 3:30-10:00 PM usually, and most of the time on the weekends. (I have no life.)

I have an idea! Why doesn't one of us start up our own private chat room or maybe an IRC channel? We could have schedualed weekly or bi-weekly meetings! Well? What does everyone think of that?

I get logged out after five minutes....I'm usually on and good around five in the morning....or eighth period.

IRC is scary...I keep offending the dumb bot....I SAID PLEASE! How did I manage to offend a program? I used the tutorial, got hints from whispers....Talked to the moderator lady but noooOOOooo....I say the bot has it in for me....Darn Paranoid, over sensitive, egomaniacal pre-programmed runner thing....*ahem*

Yeah, it didn’t work when I saw it attempted on another forum, but....................*fire in eyes* lets go for it! *dramatic pose*  But... what time should we set?  I have a feeling many people will be busy this coming weekend.

I know i haven't been on at all lately, but wouldn't it be more special if the record was broken ligitimately?  I mean I think that would be more special to Mike than breaking it at a set time.  We should just be on more, and then if someone notices it then they could take a print screen shot.  I dunno, i'm just saying....

I agree with thejohncheng... the record should be broken naturally... even if I wasn't part of the last one (the one time I wasn't online.... stupid real-life friends.....).

Edit: I just realized that the record was RECENTLY broken (I don't know what I'm talking about......). I thought you meant the one from right after Otakon, Ameria. But the question remains: was I a part of the new record? Crap, what was I doing at 5:03 on Monday? Point, we don't need to break it again so soon after it was broken, especially not artificially. :/

I'm in, assumig I can make it. For thhis to really work I think we would need a week's notice. What do you think of Saturday nights? Only thing is the time zones could throw this off.

Hm..Honestly I don't see a whole naturally/artificially thing. I figure it's a cause for celebration just being able to gather so many people period, but if not for the record-breaking, we should still try it for the ability to make a chat and be able to talk to everyone without several minutes/hours forum lag, ne? ^^
