Suggestions for an "easy" video game piano piece
« on: August 24, 2004, 04:18:56 PM »
Ok, I need some ideas for an easy song (as in 1st year) to play on the piano from final fantasy or whatever game out there that has good music. I already have "To Zanarkand" (ff10), "Aeris' Theme" (ff7) and "Julia" (ff8) on my list. Does anyone have any other suggestions, with link to the sheet music, if possible? I know I won't be as good as Mike, ever, but I wanna try to play some cool tunes :). Thanks in advance.

hmmm, I only see sheet music for variations of the theme, but not like the basic theme itself... and the variations seem kinda hard for me, hehe.

:::SNORT!::: Ahhh soda! Nose! Not expecting!! >_< :::helps protect Zoroko from thrown books:::

Zelda... yeah, it doesn't look that difficult... (Dungeon theme... Zelda I... ahhhhh) though there are three lines, I guess you'd only play two or something... I don't know.

hehe, I've never actually played the first zelda, so I don't know what the music sounds like :). Does it sound anything like II and III?

:::GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASP!!! holds her heart and staggers backwards::: I'm comin', Elizabeth!!

Here. Take this Gamecube, take this Collector's Disc, and play until you kill Ganon and rescue Zelda!!

Well the dungeon music is different, I like it cuz it's got the melody in the bass, but the overworld theme is basically the same as Zelda III and somewhat similar to Zelda II. If you go to vgmusic.com, you can find good MIDI versions... It's under Music Menu> Nintendo> G-R> Legend of Zelda> "Overworld" and "Labyrinth (3)".

Gimme a few minutes and I'll find you some.

Edit: Okay, I can't find any, BUT I've got the MIDIs, so I can work on making that into a picture that I can later e-mail to you. How's that?

Editedit: Yay, pictures:

Dungeon Theme (Lvls. 1-8)
Dungeon Theme (Lvl. 9)
Overworld page 1 and 2

The first one only has two lines so it shouldn't be that difficult to figure out... but the other have three lines, so... yeah. Good luck. ^_^;;;

No problem! I'd offer more, but there's not much in the way of Zelda I music after that... lol

I love Tetris! ^_^ Which theme is it? A (the one everyone knows), B or C? I played A before, and I'm still working on C. It's hard to play on flute because there's no place to breathe. X_X

^Oh hello there Venus.  I somehow expected to find you here, heh.

Hmm... an easy piece eh?

Try Tifa's Theme from FF7.

For something a little less easy but easy nonetheless: Arnold Morrison's arrangement of Loss of Me from FF9.

For Zelda: play Kakariko Village.  It's fairly simple methinks.

Oh and try www.nobuouematsu.com for tons of FF music.
With ichigo down, I can't think of a site for zelda music off the top of my head.  E-zelda maybe?  If it's still up.

Edit: Scratch that, ICHIGO is alive again!  Oh happy day!

Hello again, Virt. ^_^

Yes, E-Zelda is still up, but I've never heard of this ichigo site.... ichigo.com, is it?
