Ah the unnecessary sex is what launched BR to cult fandom...well that and the large amounts of gore. I for one liked the bonus story Fallen Angel, but then again I'm a pervert AND DAMN PROUD OF IT!

i was reading the mangas and i thought it was really good also but i had no clue it was a noval. that just means i'll have to try and find it!

I thought the novel was really good. But I also liked the extra stories that the manga had.

I loved the novel and the movie (Read: I choose to think that the second movie does not exist) but I haven't picked up the manga as of yet, although I've heard good things.

There's few novels that I will actually read since I tend to get bored with them, but even after watching the movie, I wanted to see how things played out in the book and couldn't stop reading it.

Battle royal is one of my favourite manga, also as Berserk. I think that first part of movie awesome.
