I just wanted to be absolutely positive that there is a solid and undying fanbase for this game at Pianosquall.com because I've barely heard a word about it from any of you. And if you're an rpg fan who hasn't played it then you simply have not yet lived.

I was wondering if anyone else liked it...I love it <3 (one of my first three RPG's ^^) A friend loaned it to me and I only got part way through so I went nuts for seven months looking for it^^. Then the second one came out and it was everywhere, that was a ironic...But happy day...Anyway, Gotta love those dudes with all that hair ..^___^..And the pretty robot-y things...

My love for Xenogears knows no bounds.  Aside from it's great storyline, I especially enjoyed the combo-system and the designs for the gears.  =P

XENOGEARS. i love, cherish, and genuflect to this game everytime think of this game and how it is one of the greatest storylines to have ever been thought off by man. i am proud to say i still have my original copy from when it originally came out ( of which my closest friends are jealous) so none of that stupid greatest hits green is on it. all hail XENOGEARS.

I just started working on the song Emotion from Xenogears for the piano. I was wondering if any of you know how to play it at all?

The only reason it wasn't being talked about is because I wasn't here =P I started loads of discussion about the game over at the Tekkoshocon forums. It's my favorite game I've ever played.. everything about it is so awesome, and it brings back lots of memories for me of when I was younger and my brothers and I all liked it, back when they were still at home............anyway, it is a wonderful game, and I'm glad there's a lot of agreeing about that going on here!

Yes, I can play that...if I just use my right hand. When I try to add the left hand I can't play it very fast or smooth. =P I can play other songs from the game much better, it's one of the harder ones. I play Ship of Regret; The Sky, Cloud, and You; Bonds of Sea and Fire; Faraway Promise; Dazil; Lahan; and Lost, and dabble at a few others. Gathering Stars and Ship of Regret are my two favorites from the soundtrack, but Gathering Stars is pretty difficult to play. Anyway, I've just made another short story long. In short, I love the soundtrack, and my goal is to be able to play every song from it on piano. Maybe I'll get it eventually. +) Cool thread, my mon!

I love the song "Into the Sky". I think it first plays when Chu-Chu transforms into her giant form and attacks Actzehn to protect Shevat.

I'm glad bakura bumped this one up.  I'm right about to go to the second disc now, having fun with leveling for Fei's second-to-last deathblow.

More importantly, YES, the music is amazing - I recall at least three instances when I just stood there, doing nothing, just listening to the music (My Village is Number One, Emotions, Faraway Promise).  It's probably out of liking of these pieces that I'm actually getting down Michael's arrangement of the Lahan theme, which is oh-so-difficult on my uncoordinated, technique-lacking hands...anyway, CREID is just amazing, check it out!

*sigh* I never made it past Calamity.... (never had another chance since the game save was erased :(( )

But I found the soundtrack at NDK!! XD *evil laughter*

'Course, after talking with Squally-san... I just HAD to get it. I'm so glad I did!!

That soundtrack was so great... even though I didn't get very far it the game, I watched bakura13 play it. What amazed me was that I remembered EVERY track!! ^_^

Oh, darkhalo-kun, I had forgotten that it was done by the same composer as Chrono Cross! (my favorite game soundtrack of all-time)  NDK2006 reminded me of more than one thing I had lost track of. I'm so greatful to Mike-san.

*sigh* Now all I need is my own copy of Xenogears... -_-
