The games can get boring, but it's something to bring along for car rides and winding down from vacations.
Red, there's ALOT of things that can KO a pikachu, *adjusts glasses* Pikachu stastically is pretty damn weak, anything with a decent strength rating can pummel it's weak defenses. That said pikachu's strength itself is pretty decent, and of course it's agility is through the roof. Gamewise, the lil guy's main advantage is being able to go first, and that's pretty much it. However it is much better off than say, jigglypuff who suffers from incredibly low stats in all areas except HP and also has a lousy move set, forcing you to use TM's.
