A non anime costume?!

Rawr I wrote a big fancy post and than I got dced and lost it all so I'll cut it short and sweet:P

I was wondering how badly I'd get lynched if I went to a con with a western costume:

The green lantern in specific. Spandex clad. Dont worry I could actually pull it off. but I'm really...well....iffy on it...whats your opinion?

kool my friend was green lantarn for helloween acuple years ago, all he did was wear a green shirt and made the logo out of green fabric, and then cut out a whit sircle and then put it on a green shirt thats all

I don't think you'd get lynched, my friend saw a bunch of people dressed as Hogwarts students at Otakon 2003.  I think green lantern would be cool, plus he's hot especially in spandex  :P

The most fundamental tuba tradition is togetherness. Tubas are pack creatures, roaming in groups. Usually whenever you see one tuba, there are more to follow.

I love the University of Delaware Tuba section!

I've seen many a Neo at Otakon. And once we saw an  Agent, but he wasnt very nice...


Also alot of Aqua Teen Hunger Force at '04.

Dude, go for it. People do Western stuff all the time; I've seen Hogwarts students at EVERY con I've gone to and a very nice Neo/Trinity duo pulled off in March. Plus, I'm sure you'll have the one random-but-SO-cool chick all "THE GREEN LANTERN! ::glomp of death::"

And who doesn't love getting glomped by chicks? I know I do!

X-men, Pirates, Vikings, Matrix, GI Joe, Harry Potter series, Every space sci-fi imaginable,  yes the Spanish Inquisition, Basketball Mascots... go for it, I see all sorts of costumes that have little to no relation with anime.

starship troopers went to yasumicon, and there were a ton of people surrounding them  :lol: so no they werent lynched so i dont think you will either  :D
