Hello from Kyoto, Japan! This place is amazing, okay, let me tell you some things about Japan that are very encouraging.First of all, for those studying Japanese, you will be very happy to know that the street signs and menus and other written things are not that complicated at all. Most of the things you need to read are in textbook kanji, not crazy hard complicated kanji, so all that classroom studying is actually going to come in handy. Second of all, whoever said Japan was expensive compared to the US? Nonsense!! This place is darn cheap! Let me tell you, I just ordered 3 dinners. Shrimp fried rice, dumplings, and a huge bowl of the worlds best soba, and the whole thing cost me $18. That includes tip and tax. Not only is it very reasonable, but if you factor in the superior quality, theres no comparison. As far as electronics go, it costs exactly the same as the US. a new PS2 game is 50 bucks. Finally, everything here is incredibly cute. Even common street signs telling you not to cross at the red light has adorable pictures of cute fuzzy bears and elephants saying no no, dont cross! I get so excited everytime I see anime everywhere too. I think everything is an anime store until I realize that its just an advertisement using a cartoon, like we might see western-style cartoon and think nothing of it. Ah, Im such a nerd...More stories to come!
They do! the place is called Genki Sushi. And its not bad sushi at all, its better than anything youre going to get in America!
I'll take the world when it turns on you.I'll set it on fire.
