Thank you for an amazing 2004 convention year!
« on: August 15, 2004, 10:22:41 PM »
With the close of Yasumicon marks the end of my 2004 concert year, and I wanted to make a special post to thank all of your for making it such a memorable one.

In just a few weeks I am leaving for Japan, where I plan to engage in intensive language training.  The ability to speak Japanese fluently has been one of my life goals for almost 10 years, and I need to do this to achieve that ambition.  I will be back to the United States in January, where I plan to kick off the 2005 convention year.  Thanks entirely to all of your support, I have been invited to perform at several conventions and am currently in communication with several more.

By next year, I also plan to create an entirely new performance set, including pieces from Fushigi Yuugi, Saikano, Evangelion, Naruto, One Piece, Final Fantasy, old school Nintendo games, Chrono Cross, and much more.  I look forward to sharing these new songs with you in concert.

Finally, to show my appreciation for your support and friendship,
I have begun working on a gift dedicated to every member of these forums.  It may take me some time to complete the project, but when it is done, I will post it on the site for all of you to enjoy.

Even while in Japan, I will be posting on these forums to keep in touch with all of you on a daily basis, just as I do now.  Plus, if I do end up giving a concert in Japan, I will have the footage uploaded to the site for everyone to enjoy.  So let's keep these forums hoppin', k? ^_^

"Squall! Squall! Squall! Squall!"

You're going to Japan for HOW LONG?!?! You have to tell us all about it, as much as time constraints will allow! Good luck, and I look forward to seeing your future performances!

Wooooo! Have lots of fun in Japan, don't forget to scope out all the funny Engrish and taste the good (and unusual) foods, and come back fluent so I'll have many more reasons to say "Wakarimasen"! ^_~

Man, have fun in Japan! Play some cool Bemani games that they have in like no arcades in America. Pop 'n Music for example, which has like 6 machines in all of North America. Indulge in the pockey eating, and ramune drinking festivities of Japan, and be sure to get some cool kick ass games. Oh and be on the look out for an Advent Children news!

Oh...So I take it there's no AnimeUSA performance....crap...Maybe Katsucon^^? Puchuu?

Well anyway, Have a great time in Japan (You HAVE to tell us all about it on the Forums!) Keep us posted on the Fluent Japanese training, and the concerts! It sounds like you're performance plan for 2005 kicks donkey butt! I can't wait to hear 'em in a future concert! (Katsucon? Pweesies!)

Oh, and find some wierd Engrish quotes (Like "This is a pencil" and stuff!) That stuff rocks...
So long as there's Natto on this planet, Japanese got no right to say jack to anybody about food.

Japan!  I wanna go  :(

::sigh:: Well have fun and write often :D
The most fundamental tuba tradition is togetherness. Tubas are pack creatures, roaming in groups. Usually whenever you see one tuba, there are more to follow.

I love the University of Delaware Tuba section!
