Ohayo Minna-san,

Some of you may already know this, but I live in Massachusetts. So I'm really close to Anime Boston. Also, I know several of the people on Anime Boston's staff including the Con Chair, Patrick Delahanty. Well, on Saturday (or was it Sunday), at Otakon, I asked Micheal if he would concider doing a concert at Anime Boston if they were agreeable. He said that they had turned him down already. "Oh," I said. "Well... I know some of the people on staff, so maybe I can put in a good word." Micheal said that would be great. So now I'm on a mission! The Quest For Piano Squall At Anime Boston!!! (insert thunder-clap and dramatic music here)

I'm starting this thread to keep everyone here up to date on how the quest is progressing. As of now, I'm still at square one.

I tried to make contact with Stacey today (she used be on staff at Anime Boston and she can get me in touch with people), but she was not at work. I'm going to try again tomorrow. I'll call her house. I know the head of security too and he happens to live with Stacey, so I think I've got a pretty good shot of getting in touch with one of them.

I'll update this whenever I have something new to report.

Okay. So here's what I've done so far. Yesterday I called Stacey's work, only to discover that she doesn't work there anymore. Then I called her house and got their answering machine but it was full, so I couldn't leave a message. I tried that again today, again the machine was full. So then I put this post up at the Anime Boston forums under Musical Guest Suggestions. Hopefully, Patrick will read it and send you an e-mail, Micheal. Let me know if he does so I can quit bugging him. If he hasn't contacted you in a week, I'll e-mail him directly and ask again. That's it from the quest for now. I'll update again when I have more news.

Keep trying, Kim! I live in Boston, too, and would love for Piano Squall to attend Anime Boston. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone high up on the staff, and can't help pull strings. I guess I'll just try posting on AB's forum.

One of my friends worked at AB this year.... I've already asked her to do the huge favor and see if she could pull some strings with the people she knows.

She saw you at I-Con, Mike, one of the InuYashas that couldn't guess "Every Heart" if you remember... she thought you were great. ^_^

I have an idea!

Everyone who wants Micheal to be able to go to Anime Boston, go to the post I put up on their forums and respond. Tell them how great Micheal is and that you want to see him there, too. You don't even have to be one of those who lives up here. You could just tell them that you saw him at Otakon and how wonderful he is. Micheal really wants to come up here, but he was turned down last year.

The meanies. I'm sure if enough of us start asking for him, they'll just have to give in!!

I have also posted a request at Anime Boston for Piano Squall. I was happy to see there were already requests before mine for him. I really hope this works out, being I am just a poor college student and I can't make it to any more conventions until Anime Boston 2005 and I really want to see him perform again. (Connecticon and Otakon were only two weeks apart and put a lovely dent in my wallet.)

Lets all do our best to spread the word of Piano Squall! That way we can overload Anime Bostons forums with requests for him. WHOO! I'm pumped now! Onward! FOR THE MISSION!

I had a post up in March or February hinting at them to consider Mike for Anime Boston, but that went mostly ignored. -.-

Anyways, AB's pretty much my home con, so I'm behind getting Mike there 100%.

i saw your two conserts at ct con. i loved the friday night one so much that i desided to get the inu yasha cd. you even signed it for me rember?

and as for the turning down i don't actually think that would happen this year because there have been so many requests for you and so i deffently think you would get in
