Hmmm...Pretty Vocal Bandy ochastra-y songs...
1.) Yasashii Yoake (First Ending to D.N. Angel...)
2.) Pure Snow (Himiko-Den Opening...one of My personal favorites to perform...The range might be difficult though...) And...um...
3.) Toki ni Ai wa (Revolutionary Girl Utena Movie song...thing...Another Favorite...)

Hey thanx for all the suggestions!!! and yes cellos kickass!
anyways, we can't do anything now, but I've d/led some of these and they sound do-able.  For now we recorded TeruTeru Bouzuwo from Jungle wa Istumo Guu.

a really nice piece from Ah! My Goddess Morgan-Amor tristis. i learned it for the piano and played it for my seminar, it is a really great piece and it was orignally an orchestra piece. i love that piece of music (steps away to play...................................). Also you should do some of Yuki Kajiura's music, .hack//sign, or noir. (she is such a great composer). great luck and may you perform at otakon.

I'm just thinking that anything from Two Mix (the wonderful people that brought you pretty much every non-image song in GW) would probably sound like a seizure....Or cause one.
.....
Might be a fun challenge though....

I'm likin' the Yuki Kajiura idea, seeing how she creates ambiance for everything from Madlax to .Hack//.

Her music touches it and it becomes THAT much cooler, even if the direction is otherwise murdering it roasted pig style.
