Ionri no Asa (Morning of Prayer) from Shamanic Princess
My Will from Inu Yasha

"Mizu no Madoromi" from Fantastic Children
"Moon on the Water" from Beck
"Inori ~ You Raise Me Up" from Romeo x Juliet (though technically it's a Japanese cover, but still gorgeous and from an anime)
"Yasashii Yoake" from .Hack//Sign
"Tatta Hitotsu no Omoi" from Gunslinger Girl Il Teatrino
"Mononoke-Hime" from, obviously, Mononoke-Hime A classic gorgeous Ghibli song, though you know that. xD
"Kaze no Machi e" from Tsubasa Chronicles
"Tori no Uta" from Air

These are all great suggestions, familiar with some but not all of them, you've given me some good ideas now.  Can we keep going with pieces that are highly melodic, slow, and purely instrumental, similar to mononoke hime?

Kaze no machi e is a great one. I learned that one specifically for Ameria. It's beautiful!! absolutely Beautiful!!!

One that I can think of off the top of my head that  at least mostly fits that criteria and that I love is Sadame (Piano) from the X/1999 soundtrack. It's fantastic! It is also pretty sad.

How about from Naruto?  What are some really pretty songs that would translate well to piano from Naruto?

Sorry to say I stopped watching Naruto a while back so I have no idea what music they've been using for it anymore. xD;;

Hm... Ugh, I'm so behind on everything! With no anime club to give me a regular dose my anime list has stagnated and I've reverted to keeping up with as much manga as I can. Of course manga doesn't really have a musical score. x_x;
