Has anyone sung anime songs for karaoke?
« on: October 09, 2009, 04:48:06 AM »
So, you know how they often have a karaoke room at anime conventions nowadays?
Who has used it to sing songs from their favorite anime?
As I'm not very good at singing in a language I don't understand, I've only sung English language songs thus far.
I've sung:
Back to Paradise from Gundam 0083: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gtEsy3jM7vs
I'm a Pioneer from Tenchi Muyo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-1oyDO3TB0
A Stray Child from .hack//SIGN: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2bj_Jcm0d88

However... I'm considering trying a Japanese language song at the upcoming Saboten-Con, as I've taken such a liking to it:
Eden from Descendants of Darkness: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4enRvrEWuUY
A frog in a well does not know the ocean.
-Japanese proverb

It is a wise man who accepts the limits of his wisdom.

I've sung at Otakon before
I ended up singing Anime Janai from Gundam ZZ (double zeta) but really that's all I've ever sang... and I actually practiced and memorized the lyrics and a loose translation of what they mean so that I wouldn't sound like a complete idiot... Unfortunately it's rather annoying having to wait for your turn seeing as how everyone else who goes up sing the songs from the same animes over and over (how many times do you hear anything outside of FMA, Inuyasha, Naruto, and Bleach anyway?)

It's still fun though
Picture is me from Otakon.... I didn't really have any decent pictures at all <_<
