 Hi, I'm Sarah, and I am am a big Final Fantasy fan, well technically I love a lot of different video games, but FF brings back that great feeling of nostalgia for when I used to watch my brothers play them, and later when I played them. I love the music to a lot of video games, as well, but the music from the FF series is my favorite...
 But I really have to thank Michael, actually. I play piano, as well, and I had been going through a kind of a funk lately, basically not playing the piano very much, and getting seriously frustrated when I did. So, I was surfing youtube and I ran across his version of "To Zanarkand" (One of my favorite pieces), and I teared up a little... It was simply gorgeous.
 I continued to watch your other videos and I became and instant fan. I bought your CD the other day, and I absolutely love it. But for the last little while, ever since seeing "To Zanarkand", I haven't stop playing the piano, and I have enjoyed it so much more than I ever have. So, thank you, Michael, for making me love the piano again...

I really liked your story. I actually had kind of a similar experience, I was only practicing a little bit here and there, but then I found Piano Squall and it suddenly became soo much fun!

Yay, another pianist! ^^ Glad to hear that Piano Squall inspired you to play a lot more piano. It happened to me as well, though he pulled me out of piano inactivity instead of just making me play more, so I know how it feels. He truely is a special and inspirational, and geeky, guy! XD
Anyway, stay around, post lots, and have fun!

So, you're a final fantasy fan eh? Which is your favorite? And all of the confessing? Don't worry. Michael has really moved a lot of us. Hell, some of us are still here (<_< I'm still here...) The point is, if it take a companion in the pianist arts to help you as a muse, never be ashamed of it. It is the purest compliment an artist can show another.
