Has anyone every tried Septerra Core?  I had dinner with the creator of the game at KazeCon in Chicago last weekend, and he told me all about it.  Sounds really interesting...

I.  Love.  Septerra.  Core.

I never got to finish it, though, because it got deleted off my mother's computer and my brother lost it.  I tried to find another copy, but alas...  Oooh, thinking about it makes me want to try again!!

(Eh... I know this is an old topic... But I had to respond... I REALLY liked this game)

He said the battle system was a lot like Chrono Trigger.  There were combination attacks, but it was also turn-based, so much more like a console RPG than a computer RPG.  What did you think?

Hey, just thought i'd throw my 2 cents in here. I bought the game in a bargain bin for ten bucks. It was well worth it, and probably a little more. The story is very interesting and seemed to be well thought out. I haven't finished it yet, however. I've sort of stopped playing it because of FFXI. The battle system is, I guess sort of like Chrono Trigger. It is turn based, and there are some combos. I think its a lot more like a computer RPG than a console, in my humble opinion. But, Like i said, interesting story line, great graphics (for its time...its a few years old). I can't say whether you'd enjoy it or not, because I'm not sure what types of games you play.
Kharinya: Try looking in Kmart or Target for those two games to a box cds. I bought mine and it came with that and Fallout 1 I think.

I have a copy of it kicking around. I've beaten it several times. The game disk is in really good shape. It ran a little slow on my system, but the system I had when I was playing it had a crappy graphics card. It's packed away in a box where it's been for, oh, a year or so. I'll keep an eye out while we're cleaning. If I find it, I'll gladly send it to you when you get back to the states.  :D I don't play it anymore.
