used to be a heavy player back in the day, between the disconnects, the hard to get armor,  the sorceresses trying to steal stuff with telekinesis and the lvl 84 barbarians coming in, going hostile and killing your group, the game was no longer fun.

Eh, The game didn't take too long if you were the correct level for it, it was all the disconnects and lag that made it impossible to get anywhere! :D

I used to play Diablo II all the time, when the patch was released in late 2003, I got upto rank 40 in the world.

However, I stopped playing the game about a year ago.

During High School I played that game way too much.  I remember playing it all the time (rather than do my homework) having like 3 99's and all the best gear, until the glitch gear came out.  Around that time was when I began to loose interest, ya know having rings that give a +3 to all skills, or better yet the gloves that give you negative dexterity that somehow gave you a +255 to all skills.  Yeah, killing hordes of monsters off with a computer freezing super mega ultra charged bolt or the paladin aura that kills of everything around you in 2 seconds.  I'll admit experimenting with these weapons was fun for a short while.

During my high school years, I was an addict to the game known as Diablo II. It was a regular thing for me to come home from school and immedietly hop on to battle.net and play some. Anywho, since about mid-senior year, I stopped playing and haven't gone back. Doubt my characters are still there.
