Slam Dunk was cute, Very Simple, and while I dislike watching basketball It held my attention

Initial D, Poorly Drawn, Great Music, in general, very intriguing Can't wait for season 5.

I haven't seen all of it, but I thought Bubblegum Crisis was good (including the original).

The two cosplayers from masquerade entry # 6 at Tekkoshocon 2005 may have said it best:

-See, that's the problem with kids these days, they don't know nothing about that good old school anime!
-Wait - good, old, anime? Like what?
-Like... where were you at when the Bubblegum Crisis came out? I will tell you where you were at, you were still pooping in your pampers kid!

The sad thing is, what is the definition of 'retro' nowadays? There were a ton of kids at Ohayocon and Katsucon who didn't know who Carmen Sandiego was. T_T NOT ALUCARD.

Fist of the North Star [Hokuto no Ken]

Before Gackt came in and revampt the series into a miniseries and a couple of movies, this was the fighting series.

Take Dragon Ball for example: In Dragon Ball, a bad guy is introduced and isn't confronted until a million episodes later. In Fist of the North Star, there is a bad guy like that in each season but in every episode, a bad guy is found, his little story is told and he is BRUTALLY slain by the unstoppable Kenshiro who uses hokuto no ken a secret martial art, to make them explode from the inside out ... this took place in a post apocalyptic desert wasteland. The drawings were terrible [especially when one considers the source material: the now out-of-print and difficult-to-come-by comic series] and the blood/gore was all whited out [though there was a lot of it] but it was still a bad ass series >.>
