Star Wars: The Clone Wars
« on: September 18, 2008, 11:28:46 PM »
So (for those who have seen it) what did you think?
Although I think the live action movies are still my favorites, this was still good.
The new Padawan character, Ahsoka Tano was an interesting addition to the cast of Star Wars characters - a rather feisty character eager to prove herself as a great Jedi.  The story was fairly interesting as well, adding even more depth to the stories of the treacherous Hutts and the evil Sith lords that populate the Star Wars universe.  It differed from the series of short animated features that aired on Cartoon Network in that it was basically one big story rather than several short stories.  While not quite as epic as the live action films (which have a more "the fate of the whole galaxy is at stake" feel to them), I'd say it's still a good watch for fans of Star Wars.

I saw the movie in theaters XD

Ashoka was a good character I thought and I am very curious about the origins and fate of Ventress ... I ended up not watching the series ... I caught a few episodes though >.>

Can't say I cared too much for the new Hutt character ... can't remember his name ...

The new Hutt character was named Ziro... and I think it was a she...
Ziro appeared again in one of the episodes of the (computer animated) Star Wars: Clone Wars series on Cartoon Network.

By the way, more is told about the origins and fate of Asaj Ventress in the (traditionally animated) Star Wars: Clone Wars series that was once aired on Cartoon Network.
