The simple things in life...

So I have a DS, Playstation 3, and Wii. I own a variety of awesome games. But I also have one more console that I play more then everything else... the original Atari Pong... I mean I play pong for hours on end. I even have pong marathons with my friends, though most hate playing it with me because they can't beat me. I even play it by myself and see which hand I dominate at.

That game brings me joy more then any other game and I don't even know why. It doesn't have any elaborate game play or button mashing. No outstanding musical soundtrack(or any soundtrack at that!). No amazing graphics. Just a little knob for a controller, a few beeping noises, and really large pixels.

I'm completely convinced that the simplest things in life are what bring joy to the world.

Me though a good book and nothing to stop you from reading it cover to cover.

I would add though that i enjoy winter. The pure white snow connecting the earth to sky in a shroud of white, as the very breaths we take are visible and the sounds we make muffled, is like the very world itself exists only to show you through cold and beauty how alone and connected everything is.
