Sakuranimanga!!. Mine wasn't too spectacular; I couldn't do much celebrating. For starters, I had work on Monday and I must adhere to the dress code of "all black." As much as I would have loved to have cosplayed a t-shirt ninja, that wouldn't have been allowed.

Right, so nothing doing at work. But since I work in a mall, I went down to Sarku on my break and nibbled on some sushi. My boyfriend picked me up after work and we went and had MORE sushi, because I got to choose dinner, and I explained what
Sakuranimanga!! was on the way over. He saw my well-wishes on my away message earlier that morning and asked. Hee hee. But yeah, tsushi was about as far as I got in celebrating on Monday. We were celebrating our anniversary, so we did couple-y things.
Yesterday, we happened to be in a park and I climbed a cherry tree. Yeah.... >.>; Some of the petals on some of the trees are *just* starting to fall, so they'll be around for a little while longer. The tree I climbed was in full bloom, so I got to enjoy it. And it smelled heavenly up there. We also spent some time playing video games, and watching the other play (Animal Crossing for me, Medal of Honor for him). Dinner was pizza, though.
Today I wore my hair Sailor Moon-style, if that counts (everyone called me Princess Leia. D:!!!!)? I tried to do it yesterday, but they just didn't wanna stay. And I did speak Japanese to a little girl.... okay, it was only "douzo" as I handed her what her mother bought -- kids LOVE to carry packages because it makes them feel important -- but still. I wrote "kodomo no hi" in kanji (with a translation) on the calendar on May 5th? Hello Kitty's Japanese? (Actually, no, she's

I did my part to spread it, I think. My friend told me that people at her anime club at school WOULD be dressing up for
Sakuranimanga!!. I've yet to hear from her or see pictures, but I trust them. ^_^ Anyway. Can't wait for next year! :o
