Ok. I'm a pretty decent singer when I'm in my room, by myself, without another soul around; especially cosidering I'm not aloud to take lessons. But if you put me onstage in front of even the smallest group of people I sound flat and just down right bad, Kaolla-chan can vouch for that part.

Last year I sang in our schools talent show with a "friend" and we did This Land is Your Land acapella, if that's even how you spell that, and I sounded fine when we practiced, but then I got on stage and ::poof:: flat and horrible.

I really can't see how its stage fright because I'm a dancer, twirler, I play in band, all sorts of performing stuff. I love to be on stage. So does anyone have any suggestions on how to sound better on stage?

Hm... The biggest tips I can give are to make sure that you have good posture on stage, work on making your breath support the best it can be, and make sure to relax.

My advice would be to not think about it.  A lot of the time, it helps to just focus on the song and not to think about the people.  I sometimes think about what the person singing the song would be like.  Anything that helps to take away the anxiety is worth it.

I've sung in front of people before and this has helped me a lot.  Plus it was Linkin Park, a band I like.  Try something you feel most comfortable with.

Hope this helps.
