I just like that CLAMP did the character designs....<3

It helps that the story and the show itself are also pretty awesome ^^

Well, Adult Swim just finished up Code Geass, and they sure decided to end on a cliff hanger.  They didn't really wrap up very much at all...
Even still, it sure was an interesting idea for a story... yes, what if Britain still controlled a large amount of the world, and what would happen if it's own technology (the knightmare frames) were used against them in a fight to break free of the empire's control?
Bears some similarity to Full Metal Panic... which poses the question what would happen if the cold war never ended.

The cliff hanger is actually the end of the season lol....

In Japan, they did the same thing. There's a second season which already ended in Japan which concluded the series. Hopefully it won't be too long until Adult Swim starts showing the second season in English.

Also, Britannia (fictional world controlling country) is actually North America in the series... most likely supposed to be a combination of Canada, Mexico, and the US...

If the cold war never ended? Hmm I suppose there would have most likely been some use of nuclear weapons by now. If not, then there would at least be a lot more nuclear weapons than there are today.
Picture is me from Otakon.... I didn't really have any decent pictures at all <_<

Adult Swim just finished season 2 of Code Geass... and wow, indeed, what an ending.
I never would have guessed it would end like that.
spoilers ahead (in white text)
So, Lelouch was willing to sacrifice himself to bring peace to the world... I thought his actions were getting a bit strange near the end as he moved to take control of the whole world, but I didn't realize he was gathering the world together to one purpose - to seeing Britannia overthrown.  The people put aside there differences when faced with a common enemy.  But now that that enemy is defeated, will the peace really last?  One can only guess...
