There exists probaly the most expansive series of books, the longest and the most in depth ive ever read. Its called The Wheel Of Time series by Robert Jordan. Its a total of 12 books long, each one 800+ plus pages and get bigger by each book. I fell in love with this series of books and am not even close to finishing the series. The reality of the world it takes place in reminds of Lord Of The Rings...but better ( GASP ). It has more history and more detail than Tolken had. I would recomend the series to anyone who liked Lord Of The Rings or just plainly to anyone who likes Fantasy ^^.

O yea, all 12 books take place around the same main characters!! ( Double Gasp )

Technically, I think book 6 is actually the longest of the books.  I seem to remember it having the most pages, and the font is also smaller than in the other books.

Yeah, I'd reccomend WoT to most people on the forums.  The first book is called The Eye of the World and it is also my favorite in the series.

It's rumored that there should only be 2 more books in the series, so if you start reading soon, you might finish the series around the same time that the last book will come out!
