I bought this game couple of weeks ago. I have never played any Final Fantasy games and so far this has been disappointment. I quitted playing it 'cause I think it's better to start with some of those old games.

^^ I loved FFXII
The gambit system wasnt the strong point for me but the license system put an interesting spin on the game. I could make everyone use any magic i wanted and it wasnt limited to class!
The doing away with the random encounters was pretty sweet, though getting chased by things that will eat your soul in NOT fun. Those of you who have played it know what i'm talking about *trex thing near the begining of the game*
The characters were decent *still gotta have the annoying and oblivious char i guess*
*cough* Vaan *cough*
The hunts were amazing and well worth the time!

I found the game to be great. Great graphics, game play, and all that jazz.

The music was really anything to brag about. It was nice but I bet none of you could remember how the tunes went after hearing them. I miss Nobuo!  :-({|=

Though the game was great there was something missing... I don't know what though.

Its not so much that I cant remember the music, its just that its no longer a simple tune that sticks with you. Its a complex orchestra of different sounds and strings. *Is playing ffXII right now and took a break to check mail and stuff*
Thats just me though, i mean look at the victory theme from ff7. Very nice and yet simple.

I think Hitoshi Sakimoto did very well, and Nobuo actually did a song thats featured in ffXII.
