The Quickening system is great once you figure it out.  I've managed to chain 14 Quickenings together, with only a total of four Quickenings between my three characters.  Belias went down quick. =D

The bosses can be hard if you don't approach them correctly...Judge Ghis took me a second try, and so did the stupid bird at the ruins (several times actually...) I use ATB rather than Wait, though.  Being on your toes and thinking about what strategy to use on the fly is best for me.

Who's is everyone's strongest character right now?   For some reason Penelo's my highest level character.  I have all the Increase Chance of Blocking With a Shield Licenses on her, so she can take on about five Fiends by herself most of the time.  It's quite funny to send her into a crowd of Fiends with two supporting archers and just wait them out.  Somehow my Penelo manages to block about 90% of the hits thrown at her, and Gambits keep her healed.

My strongest character is Vaan because I never seem to take him out of the party.

I like keeping my party even in terms of level (something I picked up from Pokemon games). Although I recently had to spend a couple of hours on Penelo because for some reason that I can't recall, I had stopped using her and as such she fell to almost ten/fifteen level behind everyone else. But now all my girls are one level higher than my guys, who are being leveled up to that now.

Personally I'm loving this game and its on my list of favorite Final Fantasy's =)

Vaan is my strongest character as well because I don't take him out of my party either. However, right now I am having a very hard time trying to beat Tiamet(wrong spelling). I have been using my quickenings but I still can't seem to beat him I always get close, then everyone starts dying. It is quite frusturating.

Something I do that is helpful during boss battles is that I'll put three people out, then after having them do their quickenings switch one person out and have that person initiate another chain. If your lucky you can usually get 3 or 4 high number quickening chains.

Also, charge can be a good technik when your MP is to where its useless, so even if it fails your not at that big of a loss. And uhm, oh! Make sure when your using quickenings to leave a person who uses white magic with enough MP to heal your party, that way your have a better chance of surviving the battle.

Afterr 237 hours of game play i have beatten Final fantasy 12,  The last boss was a cake walk compared the some of the Espers and hunts, missed out on the zodiac spear and was unable to beat Omega 13 and Yazimat.  What did you all think of the ending and this game?

Yeah after playing it on and off for the past 3 months I'm 117 hours into it and finally got to Archades. So far the hardest thing I fought was
the Esper Exodus. I went through the Necrohol of Nabudis as soon as I got to Salikawood and grabbed the Zodiac Spear early, though some
of the enemies are ridiculously powerful. Everybodys around 60, and right now it's smooth sailing. Except it's really confusing what I have to do
to get to Draklor. Any tips would be great.

Holla.

If all your characters are lvl 60+ then the final boss is going to be pathetically anti-climactic for you lol. Has anyone beaten the final Hunt for the hunters guild? Its some crazy monster with like 2 million health

I have tried and tried to beat Yazimat but he is almost impossible. he looks at you and your dead.  The tactic i allways used was decoy on vaan and have the other 2 heal him while he was berserk and haste. but he is too powerful more that Ozma in FF9.

Doesn't the final hunt have like 50 million health?  In the guide book, it says to make a sure fire set of gambits and just let em run around, cause it takes a few hours.  There is even a save point mid battle I think. xD

Yea your right, its 50,112,254 health lmao, And appearently you can leave the battle to save and come back in. If anyone tried to beat him in one go it would take like 12 hours.

I told my boyfriend that I wouldn't play like 8 games at the same time (for a while anyway) So between Guildwars and Kingdom Hearts 2 and Guitar Hero.....I have to wait till I beat Kingdom Hearts before I can play FF XII.  Grr.

I'm really sorry guys, but FFXII was a huge dissapointment to me. After putting 140 hours into the game I feel insanely unsatisfied. The only think that made it halfway worth it was being able to look at sexiness that is Bathier and Basch.

There just wasn't enough character development and, c'mon, you could set your characters to do the fighting for you! There was just no challenge.

The were also very few pieces of music the caught my attention. In fact, I can't even think of any off the top of my head that I really loved. Maybe the Paramina Rift music? ... Hm. That might just be cause I spent too much time there ... Actually, I really liked the arrangement of the Prelude when you first start the game. It sounds like it's being sung by a boys choir. How cute! I love the pure and innocent sound of a little boy soprano!

I had no intrest in this game until i saw one of the optional bosses has 50,000,000 HP
50 Million Hit Points and so i had to get the game.  And it is great, the music reminds me of final fantasy 5  FF2 in SNES i love it takes place in th world of FF tactics advance.  I'm about 17 hrs into the game.  You seem to get captured alot LOL.

The boss in question is a mark known as "Yiazmat", "One great Wyrm to rule them all". I managed to beat him,
but he will REALLLLY make your pants drop or toss out your controller if you don't know how to beat him.
Come on... The only logic that exists in this world is instinct, nothing else see?
