damn good i really hope they dont ruin the movie and possibly the game or someone may die, and that someone may be alot of people.

But yeah the story kicks ass plus since the kid published it like out of high school makes me fell less weird considering i hope to do the same thing that is if i can find a publisher
and now that i put that here i can bet Rhyus will be yelling at me tommorow to look for one, he'll call tony as well and have him vent. (goes and hides under desk)

but yeah the books are very good not my fave but its up there.

I liked Eragon well enough, it was written really well and a lot of the story really apealed to me. On the other hand because I liked Eragon I really looked forward to Eldest. Eldest was at best a filler in the triligy and i was really disapointed. I hope the third book will come out soon and rock my socks, and the movie sure does look interesting.

Only time will tell.

These books were awesome in my opinion but the author needs to get writing the third one...speaking of writing RR shouldn't you be writing another chapter?!?!?!?!

anyway i recommend these books to anyone who hasnt read them yet.

I heard the movie sucked. Eragon is one of my favorite books, but I can't seem to finish Eldest because of all how slowly it moves.

eragon slow tho is nothing compared to lord of the rings slow and the movie wasn't so bad tho I'm still ticked over the 3 second make saphira bigger thing where it wasn't a time lapse it was some fancy magic voodoo that made her bigger :?

though oddly enough thanx to Rhyus i remember laughing at the last three seconds of the movie because someone said come papsy (Rhyus)

                    SPOILERS (of hate)
I know what you mean about the magical 'Make Sapphira bigger' moment. My friends and I watched one of the first shows. I myself am notoriously bad at talking during movies. I think i ruined it for the 10 yr old behind me.  :|

Anyhow the problem i had with the movie was its amazing ability to leave all things important to future plot points out of the movie. First of all, where were the twins?  :-s Roran's Girlfriend...And why did her dad die? Isn't he supposed to cause all kinds of stuff in the second book?  #-o

I think i could go on FOREVER! on the topic of things missed or messed up in the movie. But don't let my picky hate stop anyone from enjoying the movie.

I read Eragon, I haven't read eldest and I don't think I'm going to. I didn't like Eragon, I mean it was okay but it read like fanfiction reads.

That movie had some good points, but others just plain annoyed the hell out of me.

I'm a big fan of the books but the movie pissed me off to no end. It wasn't worth the $2 my sister paid for the rental. Most of the acting was terrible, some of the special effects felt poorly done and to top it all off they changed WAY too much of the story for my liking! ... Though I laughed at how emo and mentally unstable Murtagh was ... ^_^

The movie was so skrewed up. I laugh when they got to the dwarven village though... because there were no fricken' dwarves! They replaced them with Aficans. And what was with the black beast thing the Shade was riding?! I think it was supposed to be beast that the razak become in Eldest, but I don't know. The only thing they got right in the story was that there was a dragon egg, and it was blue.
