Was Jrock house that booth in the dealers room? ><...Didn't they get caught with bootleg merchandise? Or was that something different?

I think the were selling "bootleg pins" is what they said.  Personally, everything I have ever bought from them is legit (checked the codes on the OHP of the bands), and I don't know how they could even tell the pins were bootleg, cuz they are allowed at every other con.

*winces* I was hoping they'd only get yelled at not kicked out...or is it banned? I was wondering why I didn't see that cool Asian dude...instead we got an old cross dresser *shudder*

I hope they aren't banned.  I mean, come on, every other con allows them to come, they usually don't sell boot leg, so I don't even know if Harry knew it was or not.  I hope they come back, because I seriously want some more Dir en grey posters and I need some MUCC.  My walls are empty

We kept bugging the "Buyers Beware" table with the bootleg merch on it to buy the Gaara doll they had there.  They wouldn't budge...they drive a hard bargain XD

Do you mean bootleg Naruto headbands THIS year? I think I know of a few places that had bootleg this year and one was very near the NDK moderators booth *shrug* Hopefully we'll see the Jrock booth back so we don't have to suffer that old geiser in a maids outfit again. *shudders*

Yeah, this year.  Last year, I didn't see much in the way of bootlegging, aside from the NDK bootleg table.  But this year, wow, I was surprised.  But I still like the bootlegged headbands better than the official ones...they're actually colored in, and the material they use isn't crappy.  The official ones, you can't see the insignia, and they're massive. =\

I don't make a habit of buying that kind of stuff, but sometimes the official stuff really isn't that good.

Anyone see Potions for sale anywhere on there?  I was disappointed...Even though I've heard they taste like crap, I still want one....

I agree with this wholly. It pisses me off really bad that the "bootleg" stuff is quite frequently better than the official stuff. Like pins, bootleg pins are cuter, better drawn and clearer. The real stuff has horribly drawn characters that are ugly and have such thick lines that you are blinded by the silver or gold. *anger* I mean, honestly, if the makers would respond to the fans, there probably wouldn't be a need for bootleg.

But yeah, that's my little rant.
