Are any Fanplayers willing to help me arrange Pure Heart for voice and piano?  I would provide a link to the full piece, but I can't find it anywhere online.  All I have is the piano solo version:

We'd really like to perform this one at our next concert, and I know a lot of you are much better arrangers than I am, so I'd really appreciate the help if anyone has the time and motivation.

I saw this and was slightly inspired...

I don't really know what you're looking for or if you still want this at all! But I just started work about 20 minutes ago and this is what I've come up with so far for the piano accompliment. If you think its good enough I'll try and continue with it and see what I come up with! :)

There is a 4 bar introduction then the vocals "should" come in, obviously I haven't done them yet though :P

OK, well....I have recorded a new version of it, this time with the vocals so you can hear the lyrics that I have started writing and so you can have an idea of how it would sound when Natalie is singing it (even though I'm a guy that can't sing and she is a girl that can sing :P)

I do apologise for my lack of singing ability, but I thought it was the easiest way for you to get the "feel" of the arrangement.

Anyway..

I don't know what you want the lyrics to be like, I mean I could mention things like "cloud", "one winged angel", etc just to make it FF related...or I could just use sad sentimental sounding lyrics. Which would you prefer?

I like your lyrics ^_^  Pure Heart actually does have lyrics already, so that's what we would use in the show.  Do you plan to finish this and post it on Fanplay? ^_^

You have lyrics already?

The link you posted only had piano and no vocal, but you said they were written by Arnold Morrison so then I checked out nu.com to find that Pure Heart is apparantly for FFX and the lyrics they have don't fit Aeris' Theme at all :?

I'm confused as to what you want me to do now :(

Oh, I'm sorry for the confusion, I was not clear before.  Pure Heart was not actually in FFX, but it was released on one of the extra soundtracks.  It's basically Aeris' Theme, only with lyrics.  I couldn't find the song online, so I just linked to the next best thing, which is a recording I made playing Arnold Morrison's arrangement.  I was just wondering if anyone who knew the song would be interested in making a new, creative arrangement, kind of like what you started already ^_^  I wish I could provide a link to the song somewhere... can anyone help with that?

Not as fun, but I guess I'll carry on...

I'm really lost about what  I'm supposed to be doing. I was arranging the Piano Version of what you gave me, which is basically just an arrangement of the original version of Aeris' Theme. That piano arrangement isn't supposed to go with the lyrics for Pure Heart, since it just wouldn't work, not even with the Japanese Lyrics. Well...from what I can see anyway o_O My Japanese isn't all that great :P. But I don't see how I can arrange it to the lyrics that Rikki sings because that version of Aeris' Theme is completely different to the one Arnold Morrison has done.

I am so confused :(

Lol, don't worry about it, I didn't mean to give you such a hard time about it ^_^   The file I posted is completely different than what I'm trying to arrange, I shouldn't have put it up there at all.   This is a completely different song, the themes just sound similar. I'll do my best to come up with something ^_^

Well I am continuing with what I was already doing and I'm doing it in collaboration with Lefty, who is writing some of the lyrics and is singing (since I suck!) ^_^.

If you like what we come up with Michael you're more than welcome to use it in your show. Maybe I can talk to you about it somewhen? ^^

I decided to take a break from it, since there is no point trying to write music when you aren't in the mood to do so.

I hope to get it finished by the beginning of May at the latest, hopefully before then though if I get free of my workload.

Sorry to keep you waiting, it is almost finished, but not quite. :)
