Hey guys! You may or may not have noticed this just yet, but the intro threads from page four onwards have all been locked. With all the new members we've gotten from this year's rush (it sounds like we're a fraternity!), older intro threads have been pushed back a long way, so we decided to keep things fresh and moving and only keep the newest ones open (and once the currently open threads reach the fourth page, they will also be locked to keep the new ones on top, and so on). All the old intro threads are still readily available for reading, you just can't post in them; it's like a thread museum.
By all means, keep welcoming the new members. You're all doing an excellent job with that. Just... don't welcome the old ones anymore. ^_^;
P.S. If you happen to return after hiatus and want to let everyone know, you may post a reintro thread, or ask a mod to open your old intro thread, if you prefer. Happy posting. ^_^
EDIT 10/03/05:
As of today, it's become necessary for intro threads after the first page have been locked to prevent revival of dead intros. You can continue to make new topics, but be aware that when they reach the second page, now, not the fourth, they will be locked. The old ones are still readable, and all that, and if you need a single thread reopened, you can always ask a mod. Thanks.
