Anime/Game vocal music

If anyone has a vocal song to recommend for me, I'll take it into consideration. Right now I know mostly final fantasy songs, and because I have only seen about 10 series, I do not know too many anime songs. If you know a good one, tell me about it and I'll look into it. Thanks!

I know you like Esca....
Blatently: Kaze ga Fuku Hi (Windy Day)
It's Track 18 on the Visions of Escaflowne: Lovers Only CD.  Bug me if you want to hear it.

Also, stuff from Hoshi No Koe (Voices of a Distant Star).

Particularly Agartha's Rain and Through the Years and Far Away.... good stuff...

I've done a few arrangements of anime songs that I'd offer for possible performance; those are available here.

Thanks gp, your site is excellent. I have been looking for an arrangement of Yubiwa, because I would love to perform it eventually. Which of the other pieces have a vocal line in the song? I am not familiar with them.

Let me see. "Florescence", "Wish", and "Kiseki no Umi" (which you can find in the Yoko Kanno Otakon '99 Live Recital section).

Hello Natalie-san!
One of the most beautiful vocal pieces in the world is Kuuki to Hoshi, sung by Maaya Sakamoto, and in the anime series, Arjuna! It is perfect for your beautiful voice, and for Michael-san, such a great accompaniment part, with lots of yummy resolution!
Also, I would recommend to check out other music pieces from that series. Yoko Kanno is a genius!

Kuuki to Hoshi is a great song. I just downloaded it. If Michael can find the piano music for it, I will definitly try to learn it at some point.

Pikachello, I don't know if you are going to be attending anime USA, but I Michael and I will not be able to learn Kuuki to hoshi by that time. It is on our list to learn if we go to Katsucon, or if not, at I-Con, and Anime Boston.

Oooh...so many good songs...There's "Memories" from One Piece, "Alone" from Saiyuki, "Hiru no Tsuki" from Outlaw Star, I think "Mononoke-Hime" is a given. XD Many Noir songs are beautiful, especially "Canta Per Me", though that one has a couple strong harmonies.

Cante per me is one of my personal favorites.  I play that one on the piano, and I think it would be great to turn it into a duet since the vocal part is beautiful.
