I like all the points made, but I was curious what everyone thinks about the way they did the materia.  I thought it was a good touch.  I also thought the cell phone thing was a good touch as well, as previously mentioned.  Too bad they didn't make it a three hour movie, then I think we could've gotten to know the other characters better.

The materia was cool. All "::insert here::", and Yuffie all super-protective. XD

But nah, if they made the movie three hours long, they'd've found some more fights to squeeze in.

It's a great movie and in my opinion the best video game movie ever made.  The only problem I see, as Ameria-chan mentioned, many of the characters just didn't get a decent amount of screen time. 

That being said, I see that most people either love it or hate it.  I love it, so it seems weird to me when people are making huge lists with 100 points proving how sucky the movie is.  v v

I don't think it's so much that people either love it hate it really, I mean, by all that was said here, It seems everyone thought it ws fun eye candy, with great fight scenes, just not interesting as a movie plot wise or to deepen anything.

So really, no one either seemed to love it OR hate it. Just....Sorta...there. I don't actually see a clear cut person in here....
