Finally, a Final Fantasy without the annoying "random combat".  (keeping in mind I haven't played a Final Fantasy since 9)

Tentative Japanese release date is Summer 2004.  I don't think an US release has been scheduled yet.  This is coming out straight onto DVD, so I'm hoping I'll remember enough Japanese to import it and actually understand it.

Finally, a Final Fantasy without any combat...or gameplay.

Yeah, I heard the same thing too, but I'm not sure about any release days out here in the US yet. But one thing's for sure, whenever it DOES come out, I'm getting my hands on it emediately! @_@ It looks so ...well, just LOOK at that trailer. Those graphics are unbelievable! Even Cloud looks cool now that he's lost his cedar-block hands! And Sephiroth...(grins) he's just his usual badarse bishi self. This is something definately worth seeing, and I hope it lives up to the greatness of FF7. That's a pretty high standard to acheive. But I doubt Advent Children will fail to meet up to these expectations of greatness. (goes back to awe at trailer)

Well, I found the subbed version, and most of the really cool stuff is at ff7ac.com (net?)

I don't think it'll hit FF7 standards, but it'll be a load of eyecandy, so that'll please me enough.  I'm just hoping to see Reno, Tseng and Rufus (my fav. ff7 bishies XD)

that would b the coolest site if i knew japanese>.<  my friend jake is accually the 1 2 blame for ly love for the ff series.  hes the ff7 guru.  he knows the game forwards, backwards, and inside out.  side missions and everything....its utter insanity
