I'm just glad the series is over.  It was getting really old.  I am glad they changed things up in this book with him not going to school, but still....I felt like in parts it was just like "and then they went here, then here, then here"

That is true - there was a lot of here, and then there..

You know, I've never really found the repeat events/themes to be a problem like other people have..  It seems like so many people want the book to be action packed or have the characters perform in a certain way (reaction to Harry's angst in book 5), when I look at the book and just see life.  Life is full of boring heres and theres where you learn things about your life and who you are.  Angst is natural after such a big event, especially when  you are a teenager.
