   Well lets see....I've played the piano for about 4 years now, and I have a couple of original compositions, but I know little of music therory. I just play till I like what I hear  . I didnt get into piano till about a year ago...I learned my first FF song (Fighting). After that Ive been learning a new Anime/game song every week! Some are just small ones I do for my own enjoyment, and some and larger arrangements like Piano Squall's music. My teacher knows little of anime though...and she says that I should play some more classical music (and I do!, like Fur Elise and Pachable's Cannon), but some songs just dont interst me. If it wasnt for my interst in anime music, I woulndent be as good as I am now. Hell! if it wasnt for anime music, I wouldent even be typing this right now!!

  I wouldent consider my piano carrer serious just yet. I hope to acually go into the medical field some day...but I still have a long way ahead of me. I'm only a highschool freashman, but anime has influenced my life already!

Well, I wouldn't consider myself a musician really.  I just got into the bass guitar a couple on months ago and am still learning, but I haven't had much time with how busy school has been keeping me.  I'm not really considering a prof. career in music, but I am joining a band sometime soon.  I am actually going to school to become a doctor, specifically, of oncology (MD/PhD kinda thing).  It was more J-Rock that got me into the bass, cuz I wanted to be able to play music like that, but I mainly just play for fun.  In the past, in middle school and high school, I used to play the piano on my free time, clarinet in concert band, and the alto sax in jazz band!

I play the piano over the last few years the only pieces i have played have been final fantasy pieces. i know hundreds of final fantasy pieces and would love to become a concert pianist or a composer. i just dont know how to get a head start in being a concert pianist.

I'm sure I've already posted in this... but I'll go again.

I'm 18 years old, and am a composer. I play a wide variety of instruments, and my theory knowledge is pretty adept. I'm currently writing music for a video game, called "Destiny's Tears," (although my school work is always in the way, haha..).. I just finished writing a marching band show for my high school, entitled, "The Struggle," which is circa 9:19. I play piano for around 5 hours a day, and I plan on attending the School of Music at the State University of New York @ Fredonia in the fall.

Hmm ive played piano for 4 years now (self taught lol) and i jus really play for fun.

I can only play final fantasy music which is kinda sad... but i did learn the final bowser theme from mario 64

i started taking piano lessons in september and i play video game and anime music.  i dont know how seriously i want to take it tho.  i hope to be in a few recitals and such tho.  i also have been singing for a lil more than 5 years and i take it very seriously.  i sing pretty much any thing, but i like singing japanese music the best.  tho, cuz of chorus, i have 2 tolerate singing in any language, including latin and in various afric languages.

All those other languages almost makes me wish my instrument were voice.... but I can study languages without singing them, so I'll pass. XP

The good thing about voice is that your instrument is always with you, no reeds or keys or slides or strings or anything else to worry about, and if you don't feel like performing, you can always fake a sore throat. Brilliant....

I play flute in concert season.  I love it!  I also play piccolo in marching season and sometimes in concert season.  I also play piano and learning to play guitar.  Also, I love to compose pieces.

I dont remember if I've posted in this or not, but I play piano and guitar. I used to play clarinet in my schools band.

I myself have played the violin for about 15 years now--(though its been on and off for the past 3 years)just trying to make time to play these days.  I played in concerts from the time I was in the 5th grade through college. Hopefully I will play in another orchestra for fun when I go back to school.  Until then, I'm content with just playing anime and gaming music.  I have been teaching myself to play anime tunes for the past year-mainly by Yuki Kaijura.  I plan to expand that repitiore as I look for more anime and gaming music to play.
