There's a slight chance there might be room in our hotel room. Several of our might-comes have yet to give deffinate yes or no.Then there's my friend, Joel. His room has only 2 people, so he might have room. It would take some shuffling, but I'm sure we could find you a piece of floor to crash on! ^__^ (with sleeping bags or air mattresses, of course.)

165 - 300+ a night???  At that rate, it would be easier and cheaper for me to commute from Philly...that is, if I were staying here for the summer sessions.

However, I'm hoping to be in Shanghai this summer...but we'll see how that goes.

The offer's appreciated. And good thing I don't take up much floor. ^_^

I don't know if I can make it to Otakon again...if I do go, I want to go with people who know what they're doing. I am not going through last year's nightmare again. Now if only I could find people...

What is this nightmare of which you speak? What happened last year?

It was a first road trip me and the group I was with. Everything that could have gone wrong, pretty much did. I remember sitting in the car in a parking garage Saturday night at 3 AM because someone accidentally left the lights on all day and killed the battery, while the driver (and owner of the car) went off to cry and throw a tantrum, like that would help, because she felt that it was karmic retribution for her being absolutely horrible to us all weekend. Lesson 1 of road trips: don't go on vacation with drama queens.

Oh, sorry about that Miyu.  Yes, it’s good to know about your travel companions before you travel, otherwise it’s a gamble.  I probably could have made it to Otakon sooner... if I was willing to cram myself into a room with 8 or more people who were so rowdy and unruly that you couldn’t get a moment of peace.  Forget that!
