What games have the best music?!?!

I dont know too many games...but I do like the music from FFVII, Zelda:Ocarina of Time, and Kingdom Hearts.

I'm pretty much with the general thought on good game music. Final Fantasy VI, VII, VIII, and X, Devil May Cry, Chrono Cross, Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2, Legend of Zelda:Ocarina of Time, Legend of Dragoon, and I also thought the music from Shadow Hearts:Covenant was very good.

My favorites have to be Donkey Kong Country trilogy, Final Fantasy (especially IV), Super Smash Bros, Ape Escape 2, .hack, Lunar 1 and 2, Chrono Trigger and Chross, Banjo Kazooie, Dr. Mario, Tetris, Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask.

Any Final Fantasy song really, and Star Ocean III: Til The End of Time was absolutely amazing.

I just found a gem quite recently people! In Sonic Advance 3 for GBA, there is a genius final type song in it that made me stand still in excitement and bewilderment

Chaos Angel has a few sub-songs, but over all they are similar and the first level song is the best. Lets see if theres a midi for it to hear....Its like the longest gameboy loop I've ever heard, Organs, Strings and sweet emotion of somewhat melancholy, desolate and dark sound. Its level is like Ancient Style made mechanical.

Have fun but bear in mind that its a midi...and the original will forever be superior.

This one sounds like Kingdom hearts COM a bit oddly enough...its 2nd riff is like the main character stepping up to the challenge or something. I get alot from these ^^

And last but probably least is my remix that came from a pre-arranged midi. Its harsh, but I'm still working on it. Its a mix of Classical Metal, Mechanical sound and angelishness...It needs teh work

Chrono Chross, hands down. Say what youw will about any soundtrack of Nobuo Uematsu or Koji Kanno, but
Yasunori Mitsuda's work in Chrono Cross is absolutely stunning. With a moving beginning and ending theme,
fluid battle theme,and musical pieces that fit the mood of the setting perfectly....Too bad most everything else about
the gaime was crappy...

I believe the original Mega Man game composer(s) is severely underappreciated. Some of those songs hold much emotion in them. I even forgot who they were....

I thought Final Fantasy VI had a really good soundtrack (as far as FF goes).  Very diverse to fit the world and its culture within the game  ^^

Aside from Final Fantasy, I am absolutely in love with the soundtrack for Trusty Bell (aka "Eternal Sonata.")  It's actually one of the reasons I really wanted the game so much.    Another of my favorite soundtracks would be Ookami.  The music for that is "magical," in a word.  Hehe.
