Kunihiko Ryo did the BG music Stuff and Composition. He also works on 'Emma (new ish)' by the way (and is awesome, if you wanted to know).
The ending stuff was Written by Keiko Kitagawa (Argento Souma and Infinite Ryvious) And performed by Mika Arisaka (Infinite Ryvious and Gundam SEED Ending 2.)

Juuni Kokki is Awesome, and like. It really doesn't get enough publicity. I dunno why, but there seems to be almost no interest, even though it’s really cool. I've only seen a little, so maybe it slows down and is destroyed, but I was impressed.
My Host Family collects the insane amounts of JKManga-like things (I think they're really Doujin-compilations, as I'm fairly sure it started out as a game, then got popular, and Doujinshi was published and then it was shortened into an anime. (Like the 'Tales of __' stuff Kreg and I were geeking about on Venus's Journal.
Seems to be the main thing my family follows.

thanx for posting the composer ShikamaCHU, i was just about to reply................

yes that series is awesome...........and trust me, having been through about 8 discs, which is alomst the entire series..........it doesn't slow down one bit..........it is just amazing, i mean the art, the music, the voices are fitting....................everything...........

i would say the one reason it may not get so much play is because if you dont pay attention to it, it can get confusing, because of the many different names they have for everything in the series............i mean i love the way it was done, with the Kirrin, and all the other names they use instead of just saying the person's name, but for someone who may just want something closer to instant gratification they may think it is to difficult to learn it all, when really it isn't, just pay closer attention.

I just finished the second collection of Twelve Kingdoms the other week. (through volume 10) Oh man, that has to be one of THE best anime series I have ever seen!

Sure the names were tough to follow... but wow. Such depth! Toward the end... the plot was just exPLODing!! Wow!!

The music was VERY good... I liked the blend of styles used.

The only thing I didn't like was... that it ended. :P

I want more of the Twelve Kingdoms!! I want to find out how Taiki (the Kirin of Tai) gets back from Hourai!!

Garrrr!!!!

*lol* I REALLY loved this series and wish there were more eps to see. ^_^

However, the ending left me "satisified" and smiling :)

SOOOO, lemme guess...............now I need to hunt down translations of the novels?? *hehe*

There are more Juuni Kokki novels than ANYTHING EVER.

Not only official ones, but both official Doujin and non official doujin. it's INSANE AND CRAZY AND IT'S IMPOSSIBLE.

There's also a few like, Video games, while you're at it.

Oh, and like...Damn good.

Wow, Shi, I didn't realized there were so many! O.O I just hope I can find some. (Official doujinshi would be VERY nice)

Videogames, huh? Are they any good? (rpg?)

The only ones of them I saw were in Japanese. I think they were strategy or RPG or like...both

And the Official doujin IS cute (Aimless, but still cute, yay character development) but again, only ever in Japanese probably, maybe not the official manga if your lucky. tokyopop might decide to nab that at some point ^^

But anyway, most of the Juuni Kokki stuff would be only in Japanese, because, as good and awesome as it is, it never really took off in North America the way it did in Japan.

Much like Kino's journey and like,  Spiral and a buncha others. But it’s not like North America doesn’t have their fair share of soma that too, like, How Trigun absolutely FLOPPED in Japan, but was homigawd HUGE In the U.S…..

Kino's Jouney? saw that used in the mall the other day. I wondered what it was like.

Spiral!?!?! Ohmygosh... I was watching my Fullmetal Alchemist volume 4 dvd... and I just noticed that it had ep one of spiral on it!! I REALLY liked it!! (was going to start a topic on it) Does it stay that good... or does it get really dark/horrifying/confusing?

*blinks* Whoa.......Japan didn't like Trigun?? (at least ONE person that worked on WildArms did) That's friggin...........whoa.

That and Big O. America liked that... and it got a second season. (I want the third so I can figure it out, dangit!!!) Wasn't that a first, ever??

O.o

As a country... our tastes are... odd. Kind of like my taste in music. *hahaha*

OHMYGOSH... my mom started her college math class... and her professor asked if anyone knew what manga was. (somehow relating it to... how to read math or something) And... my mom had a VAGUE idea because I have so many. *hahahahaha* My mom's funny. I love her! :) (Because she doesn't give me crap about buying anime/manga; thank you, Mommy!)

I'm not like, IN LOVE and going to marry Spiral or anything, but I don't hate it. It's good when you're in the right mood. It's like...angsterific in a different was from Fullmetal Alchemist. like...Um...Angtsy like Weiss Kruz kinda.. Something someone who likes Gundam SEED would REALLY enjoy (Again, don't hate it, but I won't go all...Otakreg over it ^_^. Man, he practically died when I gave him that pretty boy SEED doll. It was funny)

Pretty Boy angst with lots of childhood drama and family issues. Most likely in control of Dangerous weapons (Or Brain weapons, like, from the pretty boy evil brain fund or whatever) and the prettiest ones will be in some sort of World ending Doom organization. ^_^
Much Doujinshi ensues >_<

I think these series are MADE for Doujin. And Pencil Boards <3.

Anyway, Kino's Journey is something Americans find REALLY REALLY REALLY boring.

I love it, but I would. It's really slow, but it's contemplative. Something you watch when you have time on your hands and want to see good art、And think about like…life and….motorcycles <3. There's an OVA of it too (I think).
The manga is really really long, and even prettier (<3).
Art is just fantastic, but I SWEAR I can't tell Kino's gender. I've heard it both ways and I don't think it was ever stated ANYWHERE. Like Kurapika.
RAUGH.
<3

But anyway, the anime for Trigun did Horribly in Japan. It didn't sell AT ALL. Granted, it was a time when OVAs were A lil’ more popular, and no one was buying TV. stuff, but it STILL did badly.
About the same time as Cowboy Bebop and Outlaw Star Came out. Lots of Sci Fi westerns, and it did the WORST in Japan out of all of them that came over, which is sad, because it's my favorite.
Here Outlaw star did the worst....because well....Ugh.
The kid's cute. <3

Anyway, I think the manga did all right, it's like, one of those series that a lot of people bought the manga for, but the manga and anime differed SO MUCH, that the people who bought the manga fist didn't bother with the anime, and it didn't do well on it's own because it was hard to make sense out of unless you seriously paid attention. Something Japanese people don't seem to like doing. Different from EVA, because that's not actually SUPPOSED to make sense. Gainax likes it that way <3.

But, the manga did o...kaaaay, but no awesome. What allowed it not to die painfully was it's INSANE popular-ness in the states. Apparently, they did a Mini re-released in Japan for it, after all the money they made from America, and it did a little better (At least they had figures and toys made this time. Not a ton, but a few. ^_^)
Still didn’t do great, as well, it wasn’t the first time, and things never do as well the second time.

I think trigun just came out five years too early for itself in Japan. They weren’t ready for it. I mean, I think it was just putting too many different things in there for them, Comedy, romance, Sci Fi, western, mastcots,…Just too much for them to deal with at that point、When even the whole Cowboy thing itself was new. At that time, there were lots of Space things, and they were gearing up For the Cutesy Revolution. .They didn’t see where it was going, and it took too much out of them to think about it. Plus, it was SO drastically different from the manga, they just got totally lost。That’s happened a few times with good series. Where like, the re-release does A little Better , just because there’s more of that type then, so it’s not as alternative. Like How Ozzy used to be what freaks liked, and now everyone and their parents like it.

And...Wow, that's a lot of ramble.

So long as there's Natto on this planet, Japanese got no right to say jack to anybody about food.

*hehehe* But OH so cool. ^_^

Okay... Spiral = pretty boy angst (used to know the Japanese of that... back in my Gundam Wing days *heh*)

Kino's Journey = prettyness for contemplation (saw it used in gamestop)

and Trigun...

Kickass!! *lol* (Actually, I've only seen a few eps of it, but I liked what I saw :)

So the manga came out first... is it still as complex (mixing so many genres) as the anime... or is just an action fest?

:P I LOVED Outlaw Star!

And of COURSE I loved Cowboy Bebop. (Did I REALLY have to say it?)

Since we're talking scifi western... just finished watching the WildArms:Twlight Venom tv series. It was neat.

O.O Ohmygosh....

I think the same thing has been said about Firefly in the US!!! (Although it DOES have it's loyal fans... okay, me.) When it was released on DVD... it became MORE popular. (It had been cancelled before all eps were aired... stupid FOX) And then Serenity hit. O.o So, like, whoa...

Because of it... we're getting in touch with our American roots.  We must have been in a receptive mood like that when we saw Trigun. I think we (Americans) need to remind ourselves of that periodically.

Cause it's tough going out on your own.
