Thank you for playing at Connecticon '05
« on: July 18, 2005, 04:12:07 AM »
Albeit the fact that I wasn't a volunteer nor a part of the staff, I'm quite sure that I can give a great thank-you from everyone who saw your show and how well it came out. I'm not a musician myself, I just memorize the beats and rythms to songs that I find powerful enough to portray the emotions that are given from it. Hearing some of those songs brought me back to some great times that I've had in my youth when I was playing through the said games.

What had indeed made the show truely great was your dedication to what you did and that you were able to arrive and still play in a conscious state given the long flights and the few hours of sleep that had been accomplished beforehand
I'd love to have a battle of wits with you, but you appear unarmed

I want to seccond this. I am memoriesofyuna, the girl in the twister mat who you played Aeris's theam for. You have no idea how much that meant to me. Aeris's theam is my favorite ff non lyrical song. I believe it is the most beautiful song ever composed and has moved me to tears many times including the other day when you performed it. I was already having a great birthday and that was the icing on the cake! it was the best birthday i had ever had in my life. my 15th birthday i went to CTcon, won my first cosplay award, made new friends, saw old, got new toys from the dealers room, had oodles of fun adn to top it off got a performance of the most beautiful song in the world by the best pianist in the world! I was so upset i missed your concert and i was worried my singing in the masqurade would make me miss your performance but it didn't! <3! Im so honord to have such a wonderful composer and pianist play the most beautiful song known to man for me. The next time i see you i would be honord if i could sing a song with you or something of that nature =D! I know il continue to sport my piano squall fan badge! <3! =D>
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!<3 Aseret Yuna

XD Haha, thank you! And I agree, obscure stuff can be fun! Hm..I think the most obscure character I've been was Leon from Petshop of Horrors, though... Oh! Actually, Ferrel from Shadow Side Show was, but only because SSS is a webmanga and it was really new at the time. XD

I really want to see Wicked...

Yay for playing obscure characters!!!

This is me at last year's ConnectiCon. Scarf on the head, black bodysuit and giant wrench. Yet, because of Fullmetal Alchemist's extreme popularity, there isn't a con that goes by without fifteen people calling me Winry.

Sorry, but the last time I checked guys, Winry didn't have glasses. OR PURPLE HAIR.

(The character is Reka from RPG World.)

On the subject of FMA, i'm currently working on my first cosplay costume, going to be going as Father Cornello from FMA

Hell of a fun time with it so far, the only part I've done almost through and through is the chaingun, which I even went so far as to motorize it. It makes a pretty whirring noise ^^

Costume portion... I'll get to it eventually...
