Naruto is a perfect example of people’s Subconscious ATTACKING!
You'd think with all this anime that preaches to be yourself, people here might start say....DOING it.

A lot of anime is like that, In fact...pretty much any good anime is people defying the norm. It would be a really sucky anime indeed if all they did what the same thing that everyone already does. Where's the fun/challenge in that?
I suppose because the people here are so repressed, it has to ALL come out in art, and that's why Japan has the best T.V. out there, because they don't get to be weird in real life, it's ALL in their works.
That's pretty cool.

Anyway, The biggest reason for this post (Other the to agree with you and mention how much that line SongBird quoted was cool, which I haven't mentioned...but I just did...AH) is to make the first third of my recommendations.

Why only the first third? (Other than I haven't actually finished it, and I'm being totally lazy...But I'm ALSMOST done...)

Well, because I have JUST found out that PS has a character limit in posts.
Yes, PS has a character limit, and I KNEW I'd be the first to hit it.

AWESOME.

Anyway, The limit is 20,000 characters. (I can see faces going 0_0)
Cool.

Okay so here I go: And I apologize in advance, I could not finish Proof reading.)

_________________________________________
And now for MY recommendations (Everyone's all like...'Dear....GOD NOOOOOOOOOO'
But that's okay; I don't have ....Much...To add.....

It took...many days....
But it's not that bad I SWEAR.
Are we keeping this to licensed? I can't do that….

What I’m trying to achieve by using mostly unknown anime (although I will booster up popular anime, ‘cause it IS good), is to show people that there are GREAT (or better) anime than those that you’ll always hear about.
A lot of these are shorter series, really helpful if you ever find your self doing an anime night type thing and don’t want to spend three or four hours watching one thing.
Things like One piece are great for like, three episodes a night, and you’ll be watching that forever, and always have it as something to watch….But sometimes quick wonderful stories with closure are needed (it’ll get too overwhelming otherwise), so if you get new people, they won’t be totally lost and bored.
It’s also good for breaking up long series on your own or in a group.

We’ve found, over several years, that there should be around five anime rotated in a group watching. One or Two endless one that you watch a few episodes a meeting, and then one of two short ones that’ll be done quickly in a meeting.
Maybe some fluff for tension breakers.
This keeps people from going AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

An example…..

One piece, (Starts off, three episodes) (You might wanna rotate between two long ones, like One Piece VS Naruto)
Risky safety (One episode) (Should have a backup started in the middle, so when it ends it won’t be so sudden, like Azumanga Daioh))
Last Exile (One or two episodes.) (should have a backup, same as fluff, like Captain Taylor)

So like…Action/comedy/coolness.

Yay for research! And trial and error….>_>
Marathons are fun too though……

I’ll be rating them 1-10, I’m a hard rater-like person.….
You get a Key:

0= Only existent because of ONE anime…
1= Bleh.
Example: Ace ni Narue? Emi, Last Labyrinth
2-3= Monster of the week/Episodical, Kinda feh meh.
Example: Akazukin Cha cha, F.F.U (foof), Trouble Chocolate
4-6= formula/normal or good with sucky endings:
Example:  Tenchi, Fancy La la, Princess Nine (DAMN ENDING DIE DIE DIE DIE)
7-8: GOOD stuff.
Example: Love Hina, Escaflowne, Stellvia

9= Demi God
10=god
These two categories and a Few ‘8’ ones will be mentioned.

Last Exile: Licensed
I know of no Manga.
(I recommend this to EVERYONE, all the time. If someone asks what to watch, I tell them this.)

‘Claus and Lavi are the young pilot and navigator of a Vanship (a ship that transports everyday to important things, like letters) and aim to become the best Vanship pain around., They are in their early teens and live together in an old, run down Vanship repair house that Claus’s father (best vanship pilot) left them. They are childhood fiends and grew up as siblings.
They find themselves in the middle of a HUGE ASS problem when saving a little girl from the weirdest air ship they’ve ever seen…What IS that? They take it upon themselves to get the girl to where she belongs, and protect her. They board the Mercenary ship Sylvania and their adventure mission gets all the more complicated.

I’d put Last exile under the Category of Steampunk, even though it’s a little different.
The Setting for Last Exile is a beautiful industrial era European-like town, but there’s a few BIG differences. It’s a BEAUTIFLY done anime, a perfect piece in my eyes. Te Scenic…everything…I mean…
Just…
WOW.
The dogfights include real dangers, and explain what’s going on, it’s like watching a piece of History that never happened. The scenery is top-notch, and cities are well designed, the characters are also well designed aesthetically and otherwise, and fit the image like tailor made gloves.
The music, my god, it’s my favorite opening and closing pair of all time, and the Background Music is, is even possible, making it fit together even better. I mean, it’s the ONLY background music I will listen to without skipping. (I even skip some FMA, although that’s REALLY good too).
I am in awe.
Gonzo’s best work.
The Personalities of everyone are mysterious and fascinating, but still down to earth and not unbelievable.
It’s not lacking comedy. The action is great, there’s even romance, some conspiracy, soldier issues, conflicts with others and self, but nothing takes center stage, as it all works together to create the perfect balance.
The ambiance sweeps you off your feet.
And Planes dorks (HI!) will LOVE it. The designs of the machines are fascinating.
Really, Gonzo’s specialty shines in last Exile, and there aren’t enough words how to express how perfect I found it.

There’s talk (only talk, it might not happen) about ‘Live Action Last Exile’, I hope it’s like ‘Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow’.
10/10

Kyou Kara Maou: Licensed
Also known as ‘From Today on- I’m the Demon King’ (or something). The manga is not licensed.
Who doesn’t like Fantasy with a little (Greatly done) Almost Shounen Ai on the side?

‘All right, Yuuri, when trying to not really protect a guy he knows, got swirlied…. in a toilet.
Except he was sucked in by it.
Like…WTF?
Right, so he turns up in this place full of cosplayers, that didn’t speak his language and threw fruit at him. This whole big things starts and there’s flying skeletons and…What do MEAN I’m the King of Demons?’

So, the story focuses on this kid Yuuri and his often…More than a little insane adventures discovering his own land, his beautiful fiancé (Ha ha), and everyone around him.
The characters are exceptional, the story is original, the art’s good, and it’ll keep you laughing. There’s tons of action, berserkers, and tiny undapants, all for our viewing pleasure. Kyou Kara Maou does a fantastic job of progressing far above formula par, as it really is one of the most unique swords and sorcery (uh…fantasy) anime I have ever seen. Did I mention the Characters were GREAT? ‘Cause they are. Some of the best created.
The opening and Ending themes are infectious….
Still going ‘Meh?” you shouldn’t be, you’ll miss out on all the Baseball, pretty stones, and Crazy mothers.
You’re all wondering…What does all that have to do with Demon Kings? (…SAAAAA….)
Yeah, and what do demon kings have to do with Gakurans (Traditional boy’s school-uniform)?
Go watch it.
9/10

Major:Unlicensed::
The Manga is also unlicensed (It’s a damn shame).
The first 10 episodes are great, but that’s not where the story starts.
Its baseball Anime with a Plot, and it’s a GREAT one.

‘Widowed and frightfully unlucky Baseball Player Honda and his son Goro live together sharing a dream of Baseball. They love each other very much, and, although His father’s busy, Goro loves him more than anything and wants to be just like him. With such a great father, and tons of baseball, who has time to be bitter?
Honda is currently a second string pitcher, until he’s severely injured and it’s suggested he retire.
Goro, at Five years old, practices VERY hard everyday (To an obsessive point). His nursery school teacher, Momoka, realizes that he’s always alone, and gives a special effort to make sure he’s okay.
Goro’s Pro dreams are shattered when his father retires, and he feels all sorts of emotions he never has. He starts becoming even more detached, and Momoka realizes something must be horribly wrong.
Honda’s friend, another Baseball player, who’s been with him through everything since high school knows that Honda’s as good, or better than him. He tells Honda he should come back as a slugger. Honda does just that, without telling Goro (idiot).
When Goro finds out he’s overjoyed, Momoka (who’s fallen in love) is the happiest
woman alive. Everything going right this time EVERYTING!
……
 CRACK
The real story starts four years later when Goro is finally able to join the little league team. But…They…Kinda…Suck now. What happened? We follow Goro through his journey in little league baseball, and dealing with his new feelings, family and the past. With the help of friends he’s never had before, will he be able to make it?’

Yeah, life seems to suck a LOT , but you know, somehow this Amazingly written baseball anime makes it not seem over he top. Goro IS a scary Baseball player (with scarier determination), and the ace of is team, but it’s not like he can’t be beaten, and it’s not like there aren’t any better older kids around. There are.
This story focuses on Teamwork and strength of the heart more than anything else. It’s not shallow-like,  focusing on any one kid, everyone gets a chance, and they even focus on the rivals. The characters are multi dimensional, even if there are a lot of them, and there’s no ‘Evil person’. People are people, and have peopley thoughts. Shades of Grey.
The kids are no saints either. Goro’s NOT humble (he’s still a good kid), and although he Is the main character, he’s not doing it alone.
Also, the people around him and his family aren’t quite resolved, and they probably never will be, so we see them dealing wit it, and becoming more of a single unit.
So, in short the characters are wonderful, the plot and storytelling are su-freakin-purb.
I haven’t read the manga, but it should be stinking to that, and I’m sure it’s just as great.
Addictive as HELL.

Eyeshield 21Unlicensed:
The manga is licensed by VIZ.
The BEST sports manga/anime out there and this is from someone who’s hopelessly addicted to sports manga…..

‘Sena is…like a limp noodle….And he’s short….And inept at sports…Coolness…Life….He’s a gofer and people  have always picked on him.
There to protect hoi was Momori-neechan, a girl a year older than him and his self-appointed body guard.
So, he’s gets into the same school as her, but is still immediately picked on.
Because of his years of running errands, his legs have become VER scary fast. While running away from some jerks, he caught the eye of Hiruma, The American Football Club’s captain, and weapons hoarder.
…Holy…Crap…..
He agrees to be the Secretary but…PLAYER? No way! Impossible!
Eyeshield 21 emerges (Reluctantly).’

This series is GREAT. I mean, I don’t like Football…In fact…I think Football’s the only sport I actively dislike.
Ew…too much spandex (Not in Eyeshield though) so like….I don’t remember what my thoughts were when I fist decided to plunge in anyway, but I found it to be the most amazingly written, funny, and dynamic obscure high school sports series to date.
In fact…It’s the Sports manga I’ve read/seen, obscure or otherwise.
The music is fun, the Characters will keep you peeing in your pants from laughter, and you won’t want to tear your eyes of the screen for a second.
I don’t really know why, or can point out any particular thing, it’s just THIS IS AWESOME beyond words.
I VERY highly recommend.
The Voice Acting Cast is Top-Notch (My Favorite is Irino as Sena. You might recognize Irino’s Voice as Daisuke,(D.N.Angel , Haku (Spirited Away), Syaoran (Tsubasa) and a few other A-class anime. He only just turned 17, so his résumé’s a little short, but I think he’s shaping up to be the best out there.
Gawd I love him.) And the rest of the voices are cast unbelievably perfectly. Matching their characters in evey way.
It’s just.SO.good. You don’t even need t like sports, or have any knowledge of American football 9I don’t) they explain things along the way, and have half-time (hee hee jokes) Trivia.
The rivals are cool, the story is great the direction is great, the sequence of events is great, no one’s unbeatable, and it’s SO well done.
10/10

L.R.Licensed:
Full name: Licensed by royalty.
I know of no manga…..
L.R. is like…James bond meets comedy meets good hair. All the best Spy things in one.
-I’m aware it was already recommended, thought I’d back it up…..

‘Jack and Rowe are spies.  Spies kicks ass. No more is needed.’

LR is the greatest spy anime ever. Good plot, not ’bad dude of the week’ and fun characters. REALLY fun. Plot-ness is very existent.
Everyone in the anime, although we never really get to deep down in any one person, are fun, and they keep things moving at a good pace.
It’s really hilarious, and stuff blows up ‘Ya just can’t ask for more.
I thought the music kicked ass, and like….Dude, I mean, they’re SPIES! Doing fun spy things, while being cool. A little short, but it’s better to not let the coolness be dragged out.
Te dub doesn’t suck, because the dudes doing their accents like…Good at accents.
I thought the dub was cooler, ‘cause it was all British-like and there was happy SARCASIM! Always needed for spies.
9/10

Eureka Seven:Unlicensed
Manga exists (It think it was done after the anime and it is ALSO not licensed (Both are bran-swankin’ new off the press.
Greatness on a screen

‘Renton is the son of a very important…but kinda dead, man. He made a discovery that send the world into a new era, but it’s origins are unknown. His sister went off to unveil the mystery of what his father discovered, and he lives with his grandfather, a mechanic in the middle of a crappy town surrounded by NOTHING.. AAAAAH.

Renton thinks Reffing (Surfing on air) is like…the coolest thing ever, and totally admires this dude with tiny eyes, Holland (most famous genius reffer, and leader of a ship, Gekko state)…Who…Somehow…Seems kinda connected to him.
Oh yeah…His grandfather thinks dreams are stupid, because they are, after all, dreams.
So…What will become of his life? At this point, it seems like he’ll never be able to do what he wants.
And then this HUGE ASS robot kinda falls on his house.
Wooooaaah…and LFO...Just…SQUISHED MY ROOOOOOOOOM!’

So, the story follows this kid Renton, and his adventures growing up and being un-cool with all the INSANELY…odd people on Gekko State.
He falls in love…He gets squished…but he’s enough of an idiot to keep going…And to puke in the cockpit….The beginning is slow, but it’s important to get to know the personalities of all the many….interesting…people aboard Gekko State, and we get to see just how Renton fails to get respect…And then…Get it anyway…’Cause the world just works in odd ways.
Did I mention…..
ROBOTS ON FLYING SURFBOARDS.

NOTHING is cooler than robots on surfboards IN THE AIR.
HAH! Wing Gundam BEAT THAT!

Art is great (almost Newer Gainax-like), The music is REALLY rockin’, makes ‘ya wanna go out an’ try to fly on a surfboard.
Ya’ get more time to watch the series in the hospital too.
And here’s a warning…Do NOT watch this late at night if your trying not to wake people up.
I Tried….and it sounded like a rabid gerbil was trying to escape from my lungs… So…DO NOT hold back laughter, otherwise it will be painful and constant.
Te characters, again, are EXALENT. They’re not like…just randomly crazy either, as the series goes on you find out more about what makes everyone tick, as Renton does as well.
It kinda makes you feel that you are going through what he is.
Just AWESOME. And one the plot starts, it looks like it’ll get REALLY interesting, and all cool like.
I like how it doesn’t all take place in the air, and how it’s realistic n what people would actually do if they lives in a big ‘ole air ship thingie….And shopping….
And there’s like…Virtually NO fan service ( I hate it when ‘coming of age’ anime had fan service) YAY FOR TASTE!
Anyway, I recommend this to everyone, as it doesn’t over focus on the robots or the piloting, and it’s not ‘military unit destroying time’ of the week. Everything so dynamic…people you though were assholes at first are just…really cool and actually protecting and like…Just Awesomeness.
11/10

Honey and Clover: Unlicensed
Manga is also unlicensed.
More stupendous unbelievably awesomeness on my screen.
My computer is Unworthy…..

‘At an art college in the middle of no where, Some people are just trying to get by ….ANY….way they can….O.o
. A new student, a relative of crazy teacher-man, is introduced.
Hi Hagu.
And then the world of a group of college students like…goes FWOOOOOOOOOOOM and all this rad spontaneous stuff happens and combusts into a huge ball of rubber insanity goodness.’

It’s hard to give a proper summery of the premise…’cause it doesn’t focus on one person. AT ALL. I mean, if anyone….Takemoto…but it’s more about everyone really…he’s just the one that tends to be around the most often, and is good for using to get to know people.

The art is spectacular (it takes place in an art college, I would hope so), and they y think up unfathomable ideas and gags that make this one of the most beautiful, mysterious, anime I’ve ever witnessed. Even if you know a lot about art, this anime will teach you something.
If you’re into amazingly well told stories, it’s for you, if your in to love, it’s for you, you’re a insanely hilarious comedy lover, this is DEFINITELY for you.
The characters are SO real, I mean. It’s jut a beautiful story, that will keep your insides imploding with laughter time and again. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll kiss your processing speed goodbye during HUGE massive download-ige.
The way characters interact and learn and know about each other is so well done, and wonderful. I mean, there isn’t ONE unlikable character ANYWHERE.  It’s a fantastically put together, laid back beautiful masterpiece. You’d think…’oh…..boring’ but NO! I mean, ‘ya just CAN’T get enough of it. It’s like magic. It both progresses fast, and slowly, it’s amazing.
Characters are the best ever, the story is the best ever, he music is good, and the art is the best ever and. DARSH MONKIES it’s just SO fantastic. There are not words to express how utterly superb it is. NO AMOUNT of gushing can achieve what I want to say. Just. Freakin WOW.
Wow is an underrated word.
Every word emphasizing greatness seems underrated…..

It is pretty cool, and really interesting. You are insightful. ^^

To be fair, though, we do it in America, too. Look at James Bond. If he were real, everyone who met him would hate him, cause he's either foiling your evil plan or stealing your girlfriend, and he's just so perfect and kind of full of himself. But since he's not real, everyone loves him, because he's who guys wish they were and who girls wish they could go out with. It's the same kind of "we wish we could be like this" thing. But I think Japan is more big on that than we are.

Does this mean the reason Bleach is so popular is because Japanese people want to own sarcastic talking stuffed bears? Because if so, JAPAN RULES.

From ShikamaCHU's post regarding the review of Honey & Clover:
"Every word emphasizing greatness seems underrated….."

I can't agree with this statement more.  Just this weekend I brought this series over to a friend’s house to watch all 15 episodes that are released on his projector.  After watching this, my cheeks were actually sore from laughing so much.  :P  There are few series which are as superb as Honey & Clover.  I just can't help but laugh whenever I reminisce about the twister scene, or the Ferris wheel scene, or the chocolate curry scene... lol.  XD  But the show isn't all about comedy.  It has amazing characters which are easy to relate to, excellent art, and music that fits every scene perfectly.

And Morita-san's character is in a class of its own...

I can't watch H&C. I just can't. Why? Well, I don't know if this sounds dumb to you guys, but....there's a supposed 17 year old girl who looks like she's 10 (And I don't just mean she's short either. She's drawn like a 10 year old). It's not just that she looks like she's 10, it's that she's the love interest for several male characters who do not look 10. I really REALLY wanna watch the series (It's so funny), but I just can't get past the fact that, even though I know it isn't, it looks like a bunch of 17 year olds diggin' on a 10 year old. Maybe it's cause I'm almost 29 or maybe it's cause I'm a mom, but it bugs the hell outta me. ^_^;;

By the way. Which line I quoted was cool?  :D

Does this mean the reason Bleach is so popular is because Japanese people want to own sarcastic talking stuffed bears? Because if so, JAPAN RULES.

Actually she starts the series at 18 and by ep 12 or 13 is shown to be 20.  (When she shows Takemoto pictures from her coming of age ceremony at 20 years old.)  However, if you can get past the fact that she's drawn to look younger than she actually is you will have a very enjoyable time watching this show.

Also it's sort of a running gag that she looks like a kid.  There's a scene where she's trying on yukatas and wants to appear sexy which is hilarious.  :P

__________________________________-

Kindaichi: Unlicensed:
Yes there’s Kindaichi anime. Manga IS licensed (Tokyopop), and under the name of ‘The Kindaichi Case Files’.
Best damn detective series EVER.

‘Kindaichi Kousuke, the Grandson of Japan’s Famous Kousuke Kindaichi...Sucks at school. And his IQ is like WHEEEEE high.
Kindaichi and his not-girlfriend Miyuki tend (you’d think everyone is all dying in Japan…. where there’s no crime rate) to find themselves in the middle of complicated murder mysteries that no one can solve. So Kindaichi, swearing on the name of his grandude (Famous Factionary Japanese Detective. It’s like saying he’s the grandkid of Sherlock Holmes.)And he solves them. And it’s all  REALLY cool.

The Kindaichi anime is a little old, but sticks to the manga very well. Almost frighteningly well.
Anyway, the music is good, and watching it makes it JUST that much more suspenseful. Kindaichi is THE BEST mystery series out there, as they are the hardest, most complicated plots. The characters themselves are dynamic and well made. Awesomeness.
The Anime is every bit as stupendously freakin’ awesome as the manga, and even if you’ve read it (as it doesn’t really differ), I’d still suggest watching it. A whole new level of interaction.
Even if you’ve watched, I’d suggest reading the manga too. That you can stare at clues you hadn’t noticed and get the thought process down.
One word…SUPER.

As I’ve mentioned somewhere, there’s also a live drama. The Live Drama has stories the Manga didn’t, and Jun Matsumoto is really funny. Watch that too.
There may be novels (Like all the Full Metal Panic Ones) as well.
And there are several great movies, which also don’t follow the manga. All is GREAT.
9/10

Oh My Goddess (TV, Movie, and OVA):Licensed:
Also called ‘Ah Megumi-sama’. I realized it’s already been recommended, But it’s just that Good.
The manga is ALSO good (Licensed), but good luck getting them in Order. They aren’t numbered.
A Sweet Story and a really funny one.

‘Here’s Keiichi, a college freshman/bike geek….Ordering food….
And HEY! Woah, a chick comes out of the phone. Dude, I must be crazy…..She says she’ll grant anything…HA! No way...Heeey….Hallucinations talk!
‘Kay then. Be my Girlfriend.”

And she does. When it first came out it was the most original Magical Girl shonen manga out there, and still is. There have been a few other authors to try and imitate it, but, after all, the original is the BEST.
It was first animated as a five episode OVA (When they were popular) but alas…That just wasn’t enough.
It wasn’t picked up as a T.V. series until recently, as no studio thought they could do justice on a weekly basis for the beautiful, and frightfully complicated goddesses. Not now, with happy new tools, it’s become a stupendous series worthy of lots of recommendations.
A few years back a dramatic and beautiful movie was done. (It made me crrrry! So pretty….)
They focus on the relationship between Goddess Belldandy and Keiichi. Belldandy’s sister Urd and Skuld are always there to get in the way, or to learn something new, and there are several other interesting obstacles, but there’s never a doubt that they really are perfect for each other.
The stories follow them through learning about each other, some past, family, and friends.
It’s beautiful tale, with amazing designs and even some pretty bikes and TONS of comedy.

The music for all four (OVA, Movie, T.V., Mini Goddess) is great, and the character’s wonderfulness and very developed personalities never waver.
All the characters, as there aren’t that many (Important ones, there’s tons of interesting but unimportant people that are supporting cast…and are always supporting cast), are developed to a point where I could SWEAR they’re there with me. I mean…I’m starting to wonder if this stuff actually happened, just the way it’s all told so smoothly.

I’m aware of the ‘Mini Goddesses’ spin off existence…I just don’t think all that much of it. ‘Mini Goddesses’ followed the three sisters (mostly Urd) in chibi form and had…This..Rat…Right.
It WAS cute, and the music was good, but it was…Just not all that interesting.
A good thing to pop in while transitioning between two things at an anime night.
Don’t expect anything seriously entertaining.
Fluff.

The manga is great for seeing how the artists develops and gets better at drawing his own characters. It’s fascinating. You can also do that with Flame of Recca (licensed) (also did ‘Rocket Princess and Mar (licensed)). They just evolve so well... OMGoddess mangaka is also is the Author of The ‘You’re Under Arrest’ manga….I’ll also be recommending the anime for that….^^

Stupid Info:
Belldandy (actually, it’s not ‘Belldandy,  But saying’Verdande’ isn’t done in Japanese.), Skuld, Urd, and some of the Other Gods name are names of Norse Deities.
Another sister Threesome show up in Loki Ragnarok, and ‘ya just can’t help but compare…hee hee….
Urd is ‘past’, Vendande is ‘present’, and Skuld is ‘future’.
This corresponds to the character’s ages and, of all things, their Vehicles. There’s a lot of random stuff in the manga/anime that ties in to their roles in Norse Mythology, but you need to know what you’re looking at. Otherwise it’s just cute.
Watch out for those >_<!

I My Me Strawberry Eggs:Licensed:
I’m sure manga Exists…Somewhere?
Cross-dressing Men, what more can you want?

‘Hibiki (has good hair, and is fresh outta college) has a P.E. teacher’s Education, but hasn’t found work.
He needs to…He needs to pay his landlady…He also wants to teach. He likes kids and is just a diabeticly nice person.
So he applies at this middle school…
And turned down because he’s a guy.
The head-chick lady HATES guys.
A LOT.
The school had just become a Co-ed school (It was an all girls school before) and there were only a handful of male students. She wants them OUT.
NOOOOOW.
So….After getting all exited and after having actually promised to pay the rent…He swaggers beck home…
His landlady, seeing him, decides she can help. Can’t teach as a guy? Then don’t.
Teach as a HOT LADY!
Hibiki Sensei gets the Job, and vows to become a teacher that all students feel they can go to.
Especially this one girl…..Fuko….’

It’s funny, there’s romance, and it’s funny>_<.
Very sweet, and teaches a lot about respect. Discrimination is BAD! Guys can be passionate teachers! One of those always welcomed ‘Life lesson/comedy’ anime.
It’s got a VERY original plot, and the characters, although not as dynamic as some of the other series I’ve mentioned, are very pleasant. It’s not over the top, it’s not too laid back, and the art’s pretty.
The ending, WORKS. (Big plus.)

It’s something amusing and interesting to watch when you want something light and upbeat, but still tons of plot and moral-ige.
8/10

L.R.Licensed:
Full name: Licensed by royalty.
I know of no manga…..Yet.
L.R. is like…James bond meets comedy meets good hair.

Everyone in the anime, although we never really get to deep down in any one person, is fun, and they keep things moving at a good pace.
It’s really hilarious, and stuff blows up ‘Ya just can’t ask for more.
I thought the music kicked ass, and like….Dude, I mean, they’re SPIES! Doing fun spy things, while being cool. A little short, but it’s better to not let the coolness be dragged out.
teH_Dubxxorz doesn’t suck, because the dudes doing their accents like…Are good at accents.
I thought the dub was cooler, ‘cause it was all British-like and there was happy SARCASIM! Always needed for spies.
9/10

El Hazard (all of ‘em):Licensed
All is licensed, including manga.
So he’s famous for Tenchi, El Hazard has a better story.
All the Stories have about the same base plot.

‘Makoto is taken to anther world, and like…W…T…Jalapeños?
He looks just like the younger princess and his ‘only strong when sloshed’ teacher has stripy undapants and, the chick with the powers that go BOOM is HAWT. How will Makoto fight for this world as he searches for a way back to his home, high school, friends, and crazy student counsel guy? Will the dancing la cucarachas get him?’

By the same guy that brings you Dual and Tenchi, only there’s slightly less of El Hazard (only…three? Different series? Four if you count El Hazard Magnificent #2), and it has a better plot than Muyo. Each telling is different enough to watch, and is fantastically told. The fantasy is whimsical, but not over the top, and there’s tons of laughs along the way.
Like, TONS.
The love story(ies) itself is beautiful, if not sad in some places, and this anime will keep you popping in one DVD after another. The only faults I can think of are the few slow spots in all of them, and because it WAS his first story, he didn’t quite get the formula or sequences carefully put down. But all are definitely worth watching all the way through, and all are fantasy with a little twist.

Actually, El Hazard is pretty old, so it may not seem all that original anymore, but this dude truly IS good at making up other, really spankin; worlds (He does in both Tenchi and Dual) and they’re all really different.
Playing with alternate places is FUN, and so is this series, as everyone who worked on it truly must have had fun, as it shines through. The main characters create a nice balance, and everyone’s interesting, if not a little formula.
Then again…This guy CREATED ‘other world’ formula…So of course his characters set the bar.
The music is pretty (Awesome), and again (Like all anime music should) sets the ambiance on high power mode so that it feels all…other worldly and cooool.
8/10

 Otogi Jushi Akazukin:Unlicensed
There is probably Manga, and it would be unlicensed.
Mmm…Loli, it’s not just for pops anymore (Take that ANY way you want)

‘So, cute little kid….Whazzhizname, and his friend Ringo are great friends…Actually…She kinda takes care of him.
They’re like…10.
He has this freaky talent with plants and animals…they love him so…and are so happy to see him….AWWWWWW.
His Dad’s away working a lot, and his mom’s died…Although he always remembers this story she told him…about two worlds, one of science, one of Magic…
But he can’t find it in any book…
Weird.
And hey….He had this dream and there was this chick that defeated this monster…and now…Now she’s all popped out of this well and…and…WOAH.’

So, the story focuses on this kid and the musketeers that need to stop these fairy tale dudes with good hair from taking over the world.
It’s all sickeningly cute…and fluffy…and OH THE CUTENESS
The plot, so far, looks fairly interesting, and if it progresses properly, will be a ton and a half of fun.
It’s a little too early to tell, but I recommend it as something more to keep an eye on, than something that’s definitely top-notch.
Just my ‘this is too cute for words’ instinct.
The art, is like…consummate cute, and really good.
The character designs are nice and the characters themselves seem all nice and quirky.
Honestly, I haven’t gotten too far into it (given there’s like…None out) and so I really don’t know what to say.
Some nice fluff to make you HAPPEI! And it doesn’t seem as shallow as most other fluff.
Again, something I only recommend  to keep an eye on, who knows, it might be the next Cardcaptor Sakura…..

Naruto is a perfect example of people’s Subconscious ATTACKING!
You'd think with all this anime that preaches to be yourself, people here might start say....DOING it....

I'm sorry, maybe it's just because I'm tired but I can't understand what a lot of this says... What is all the "’s" and stuff about?
When it seems like everything is coming your way, it means your in the wrong lane.
