I've seen it (Only in Japanese, and lacking the titles of subbination) and like...

OMG cool...

Not my Favorite Miyazaki, but it's a Great Wall of China sized load of Fun.

Then again...I like everything Miyazaki does, as he is like...Earth God of good Movies.
One of those protectory spirits of worldly-ness...except his is of Movie-itude.

I never thought I'd ever have a favorite hopping Scarecrow.

I like the 'cleaning House' part (Like when she finds the bathroom....Like...WOAH)
I feel like Kianu Reeves, saying 'Woah' all the time.....

I totally love all the cute things I can't spell the names of everywhere (Non-Japanese names....Meaning they were pronounced like coughs...I have NO idea what the lil' fire demon dude's name is really supposed to be. In the Japanese version, I decided (At last) they were kinda almost saying Kareshba...of Kareshfa....or krbfhbashi......I'm SO not kidding, it sounded like a sneeze….I could always look I tup…

Too Lazy…And Sneezes are fun to try and pronounce.)

But yeah...I'm just lovin the whole movie.

What I love about all Miyazaki films would be the movement, The way people move like real people do.
All the wasted motions, funny things people do, mistakes...Small things like that on such a large scale that make the most life-like believable animated things out there...

I mean, the people are actually like....Believable characters doing believable things imperfectly, like what would really happen. The way everyone moves all the time. They look like their actually using their limbs instead of (what the hell am I trying to say) ...Like...It looks like their not floating on separately moving things, their all...One thing
Also, they say and think things real people would, so it’s not just the movement alone.
A good example are the little swimming club girls in Porco Rosso.
.

I have SO stopped making sense...But just...Like...Take a REALLY good look at all the unnecessary things in Miyazaki films, and you'll find that they are the things that make the movie, as well as the pure, fantastic, OMGodly story telling ability.
I don't know how he outs all these tings together so perfectly. It's like....
This man is great at conveying his ideas to you.

I would REALLY like to see the inside of his head (Not like...A surgeon would (like...ew, I'm not Black Jack), like...More what he's thinking, no matter how psychedelic and  trippy that would be).

Oh, and like…All the music kicks soooo much toushie (sp? Can you believe spell check doesn’t include that? Grr… )like….Dude.

The fire demon's name is Calcifer, or "Karushifaa".

...My favorite part....hm.... When Howl gets angry at Sophie for cleaning and his hair changes. That entire scene was amusing. But I won't go further into it because that'd be spoiling. XD Also, the ending is nice.

I think what Diana was trying to say is that... Unlike most TV anime, Miyazaki films have a budget that actually allows for the characters on the screen to move realistically, as opposed to standing around a lot.

OMG. That was my favorite part too. I thought he looked good with red hair. And with no clothes on.

I liked the movie better than Spirited Away, but less than Princess Mononoke.

He looked like Shin (Gokusen) with the red Hair.
It was like watching shin freak out.
This makes me happy.

I think Howl's adorable, 'cause even though he IS selfish, he's still a really nice person, and acts like a little kid a lot.

I like him with the clothes ON. Pants are GOOD.

Anyway, it's partly the budget, and partly because Miyazaki is good with movement patterns. He knows what real people do, and he makes sure to incorporate that.
It's stuff most people don't even think of when telling a story, but it’s stuff everyone does..
In my opinion, the way his creations work is more realistic than it he were to use real people.

THAT is why Miyazaki is like...Earthbound story conveying god.

Uhhh....
... If you say so...

I like him with the clothes on. I like him with the clothes off. I'll take a little of both. It's all good.

lol.

As for actual discussion regarding the movie, I'd love to see it in original form.  While I loved Billy Crystal as Calcifer, as well as Howl's voice--I'm sure I'll love the original japanese even more.
