Otakon 2005?
« on: June 23, 2005, 10:45:04 PM »
Hey, I was wondering who all was heading to Otakon in a couple months? ^^ I'm pre-regged, but I'm trying to get a group together for a hotel and I figured I'd check with you guys first. So far I know RC needs a room, and we've got to find a way to get Warky back up. Zoroko and Ra-chan are a possibility, albeit a very slim chance. Anyone else still looking for a room?

Yeah, I don't think I'll be down there on Thursday. But we should definitely find one of those lull-moments in the con (there's always at least one, when no one's doing anything but just wandering around), and par-tay then.

*nodnod* Agreed! I'm gonna try to make arrangements for a room on Thursday, too, because #1 I want to get my badge asap and #2 I want to actually check out a little of Baltimore this time. ^_^

I wonder if the Orioles will be in town... probably not. Every time I head to another city with baseball, the home team leaves the day before I get there. >.> :::checks schedule anyway:::

If not Orioles, try our new Nationals (THEY BOTH SOOOO ROCK! Love lovelove....)

Top contenders this year.....Like Magic...
So long as there's Natto on this planet, Japanese got no right to say jack to anybody about food.

Oh yeah... And I like the National League better because their pitchers aren't stupid and pick up a bat when it's their turn! Nationals are pretty sweet, too!

Edit: They're both away! X_X Orioles will be in Cleveland, and the Nationals will be playing my Mets in Flushing. The baseball gods refuse to give me a break!

Tell me about it, my beloved Tribe will be HOME against the Orioles instead of in town :( For once I had a chance to be a fan following the team heh. Ah well.

XD actually how early is everyone getting to there respective hotels Thursday?  Maybe we could all meet up after we get our badges and talk a bit?  Mingle the groups together, infect others with the disease of "Constant PianoSquall Listening Syndrom"  :lol:
My next hopeless invention...

Now someone needs to solidify the essence of sex, melt it down into a chocolate bar, and sell it at Otakon for less than 10 bucks...

^_^ We're gonna try to get down there around 1. I'd love to meet up with people and check out Baltimore a bit before going to pick up badges. Hoo boy, that liiiine. I ph33r it, and yet I must endure it. I really need to find a replacement AC adapter for Tomoyo-camcorder before Otakon, too. x.x;
