I'm looking to learn some piece from Castlevania, but I played this game so long ago that I cannot remember specific titles.  Does anyone have some good suggestions?

Good Castlevania songs? Well, there are quite a few, soem of my favorites are Tragic Prince from SOTN, Dance of Pales form SOTN, and Moonlight Nocturne from SOTN. Symphony of the night is my favorite Castelavania game, so, thats why those are my favorite songs. Bot anyway I hope that this helps a bit.

Also, Lost Painting and I Am The Wind, from Symphony of the Night. And Bloody Tears from Simons Quest.

Vampire Killer rocks.  There is a fellow named Kareshi who transcribed tunes himself and recorded them being played, but I misplace the URL.  The videogame pianist's forum has his link somewhere...

As usual, my site has Castlevania sheets, some nice ones, too!

Well, I was wondering what that song sounded like (never playing Castlevania) and I LOVE that song!  I have heard it before, but never knew what it was called.  I'm excited about this one!

Course..  I'm excited about all of your songs apparently Mike-san! *sweatdrop*

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night was a great game in many ways, including the music.  The music you hear when you first enter Dracula's Castle (fittingly called "Dracula's Castle") is very good.
Even the original Castlevania game had cool music.  The music from stage 5 is permanently burned into my memory because it took me so many tries to get past the Grim Reaper... Man, that boss is tough.

I think, even if you do Bloody Tears, a really cool song is also in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, in the Chapel. that song is also an easy-medium learn. Its an organ but it sounds great in piano too! :D

I was just going to post a thread for Castlevania music when I found this thread. Castlevania is one of my favorite game series and has some totally killer music. Everoyne loves songs like Vampire Killer and Bloody Tears, but some other fantastic songs are Beginning (my favorite theme) and Mad Forest rom Castlevania III. Wicked Child and Voyager from the original game are really good, as well. There are many amazing songs from the series and I hope you decide to arrange some of them.

That's funny, because I was going to post a Castlevania: SOTN thread too ;)  The music from that game ROCKS!  However I don't know which piece is Bloody Tears (it's not in my Castlevania folder,) so if anyone can tell me what game / area this is from it would be sa-weet... thx! :)

Bloody Tears is a theme that appears in many of the games. Check out some Castlevania midis on www.vgmusic.com to hear some version of it.

Thought I'd resurrect this old message thread.

So... any new news regarding the Castlevania songs?
