It was so weird!!!! And someone told me he was drinking during the con, so now I'm wondering if that was sober David Carradine or inebriated David Carradine....

Someone who had been close by him on stage in the evening, said it was very obvious that he was stoned..

Oh well. The past is the past. Let's look to the future. Mike for Kunicon St. Louis next year!!!!!!!

Poor guy, he must have had one hell of a life. I could tell he isn't a really happy fella. I should have offered him a pocky. Everyone loves the pocky. When he was signing my Scabbard, he was singing something. I didn't even get to say anything to him.

But anyways,

I vote for Mke.

He actually made a joke to me..  I asked him to sign my other pic for Paul, and he looked at me with a small grin and said "You don't look like a Paul" and then signed it while the guy next to him started laughing and I explained.. lol (Paul is my brother)

It's hilarious that Piano Squall went into Kunicon with a small following and David Carradine went into it as a huge celebrity, but by the end EVERYONE loved Piano Squall and we were all pretty disgusted at Carradine.

Well that just goes to show how being a nice guy goes a long way.

I'm not disgusted with Carradine.  I still admire him hugely.  There's no changing the effect that he's had on my life, nor my brothers.

I'm not disgusted with him either. I'm just trying to figure out if nice David Carradine is the inebriated one or mean David Carradine.

Bad News: I couldn't attend the concert. My volunteer shift was at the same time T_T

Good News: I was capping the Scott McNeil line for Ellie at the time of your concert, and it just HAPPENED to end a little distance away from the room where your concert was taking place :D So I could still hear your beautiful music! ^_^ Great job on... well, everything. I wish I could play piano as beautifully as you. It's so... inspiring.

I'd love to volunteer, but it's for that reason why I won't..  I would hate to miss out on anything..

You should be able to get into cons free if you volunteer... just as long as you do the required number of hours.

Oooh..  (I don't shirk my work, so that won't be an issue)  I'll definitely have to volunteer next year.  What does set up and break down entail-hour wise..

It varies from con to con. I've only ever volunteered at I-Con because it's close, so I can get there easily. I-Con, par example, only requires eight hours' worth of work over the weekend (and that goes for everyone, setup, anime, what have you). But other cons may have more, or give you more free stuff/refundish type things for the more hours you log.
