I have finalized the Database Reader to access the database, which is currently empty. I will be giving the first 10 people administrator right to this database that are interested and post back here as such. Any of the other people who post interest after the first 10 will become readers only. The database will need to be filled with different and appropriate items. Mind you the first 10 administrator will be able to create there own character on the database, and hence will be able to play the game first when released to pre-alpha.
I have released another version of the PowerPoint slide which is in the same place.
http://www.prism.gatech.edu/~gte434z/TheForeverCurse.pptI am restarting the graphics design for the game and will need a 3-D artist that specializes in making semi-detail humans, clothes, and accessory. While I will sooner or later need a lot of different figures at this point I am just looking for one human with some clothes & no accessory needed that in 3-D that I might be able to export into *.vo file. But the file transfer can be worked on.
I have created the zip file for the Database_Reader which requires the new Java 5.0, which means you must have that version installed to run the jar file. Anyrate if you have no clue about Java and can't figure out how to get Java 5 @
http://java.sun.com. Than AIM me at RoadrunnerWAN, and I will send you out the full 99 MB zip file that includes installation of Java.
http://www.prism.gatech.edu/~gte434z/DatabaseReader_wo_Java.zipThe 'without' just means that the Java Installer is not included in the zip file. To run the three jar files just use the bat file provided as long as your on a Windows machine. I have decided to make a guest account to only read the database, which will have an username of 'Guest'(capital G required) and a password of 'squallviewers'. If there are any questions or you want to start updating this very empty database just make a post.
