Who's the nastiest bad guy?
« on: February 27, 2005, 01:53:18 PM »
Now, let me clarify what I meant by that.  Who could kick serious butt?  Who has powers so incredible that anyone who took him/her on would be toast unless they had a lot of skill and a lot of luck?  (but if you want to say who you think the most evil villain is, that's fine by me).

Now, Suzaku (the fourth Saint Beast from "YuYuHakusho") had a technique called prism of seven.  Being able to attack from multiple angles is a great power to have.  And each Suzaku was an individual entity that could act independently of the other... even do a new prism of seven if the others were destroyed (although he could not go above seven at any given time...).  So, the only way you can defeat him is if you destroy all seven at once!

There was also Kanzeil from "The Slayers: Next".  He could disappear at will and then reappear at any new place.  His opponents couldn't tell what was coming.  He probably would have spelled the end for Lina Inverse and company if he did not make the mistake of underestimating them.

Ooohhh....lets see....

Arlong and Croc from One Piece are teh 3vil!! meh...Im not to good at explaning why but yeah...

Arlong is a large Sawfish type mermaid from the Grand Line. With an "unbreakable" nose and teeth, he was formerly the most powerful member of the Mermaid Pirates...and so on....

Croc Is has powers sort of like Garra from Naruto.... :?

I agree with Crocodile, he was tough. From what I've seen of later on in One Piece, Eneru from the Skypiea arc is uber-tough too because he's a GOD.

Hm... From Slayers, Shabranigdo would have to be the major baddie since he's the big Dark Lord of the Slayers world. Then comes Dark Star, Death Fog and Chaotic Blue of the Slayers-verse planes of existence. Lina only defeats pieces of Shabranigdo, not the whole thing. The main good god of the Slayers universe pretty much broke apart along with Shabby and that was the only way that battle was able to end, so it's pretty much given that no hero or heroine would be able to defeat Shabby if he was whole.

Yes, I realize the Dark Lords are the greatest in terms of sheer power, but I never saw any clever tricks from them when I watched that anime (likewise, Suzaku was not the strongest character from the YuYuHakusho anime, but he had some special techniques which made him hard to beat).
I think I should note here that Death Fog and Chaotic Blue were never mentioned in the anime (well, at least not the TV series or the movies/miniseries I've seen thus far), so I assume they're from the manga and/or novels.
And one final thing - I don't think Shabranigdo would like you calling him "Shabby" :-$

This sounds a lot like Naruto's signature technique, Kage Bushin no Jutsu (Art of Shadow Replication) the difference being that you don't have to destroy all the clones at once-but he makes up for this by being able to produce hundreds of clones instead of just seven.

Anyway, I always liked Captain Kuro from One Piece for sheer nastiness. Not only was he truly cruel and heartless, he's one of the few villains who can challenge Luffy WITHOUT relying on a Devil's Fruit power-his ability to run so fast you can't see him (while eviserating everyone in his path with his Freddy Kreugeresque claws-even his own men) and his fighting style is enterily self-taught. But the best thing about Kuro is that he's really, really smart-Oda-sensei says he's the second smartest person in all of One Piece (the first being Ben Beckman, Shanks' first mate-the tall guy with the split curl who stands next to Shanks in the second opening) which earned him the name "Kuro of 1000 Calculations."Intellegence, when put to evil use, is very scary-he successfully faked his own death, conned an entire town, and he would have gotten away with it, too, if it hadn't been for some meddling rubber kid in a Huck Finn hat.

Also: Master Asia from G Gundam. Not only is he like a father to the hero, he's insanly powerful, driven, and worst of all: politically connected. Being unofficial advisor to the man who controls the world makes one pretty formidable. And the final battle between Master Asia and Domon is one of the best anime fights ever.

Heeheehee..I guess it's hard to tell, since Ben's been in like all of two episodes as far as I've seen (I'm following K-F's fansubs) and you can count the number of lines he's gotten on one hand. The only evidence I've seen of his brainyness was a manga cover page (think it was a cover page, but for all I know it may have been a very good fanart) of Ben and Shanks playing chess on the ship. Shanks looks like he's racking his brain and going crazy contemplating the next move, while Ben is sitting back, totally confident of his inevitable victory. ^^

What about Itachi from Naruto? Itachi's a highly powerful ninja and if he can even put Kakashi into terrible pain then that is one SCARY guy.

Ganondorf? Psssh. He was souped up with the power of the Goddesses, is all. That's the only reason he could even attempt to be bad ass. He would easily have been taken apart if not for the Triforce.

As an aside, Ganon was worse than Ganondorf. Duh. But some would say Ganon was just a big ol' monster, not so much a villain.

[sarcasm]No, I've only played that game a hundred times over. I've never gotten everything in that game.[/sarcasm] The only reason Ganon was so easy was cuz once you figured out "Light-Arrow-to-the-face-then-Megaton-Hammer-or-Biggoron's-Sword-to-the-tail", he was done. All you had to do was just have enough magic -- or get Gannie to knock down some pillars for ya -- to tough it out. Ganondorf was just annoying with those magic balls that knocked some of the platform away. What a loser. XD Toughest boss in OoT: Bongo Bongo, hands down (no pun intended, lol). AUGH. >_<

I wasn't just talking about OoT Ganon and Ganondorf, y'know. I was talking about the other ones, too.
